YOUR wrong.

Who made 350K.

You might want to fact check. Second your dates are incorrect. Back in the 90s the regional s wanted 1500 TT and had lots of applicants.

Pretty sure American Airlines used to top out at 317 an hour, the top earners and top seniority could sell all their vacation time during December and earn an extra two months pay, plus they only worked 10 days a month back then (although now I guess some of their international guys are down to 8 days). As a top guy, 350 was entirely in reach.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I do not doubt that. The number that made that was small and they were at AA for over 30 years.
The regional s are here to stay, as the Majors are to selfish to do anything about it.

It is wishful thinking that they will be a thing of the past.

PS I think it was UAL not AA. The same guys at UAL making that coin could care less about code share and will give the company as much as they want.

Most majors, a captain might make 180k a year. ( After 20 years to upgrade)

The PFT and hired with 250 hours was just a small window of opportunity for some that should have never Happened.

Your, going to make over 350K at Your new job at SWA someday.

Your very lucky to have that opportunity.

I hope your having a good day.

You might want to read the legacy contracts from the late '90s and run some calculations on cost of living adjustments. You'll find that you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Funny that I think you do not have a clue of what your talking about or how lucky you are to be going to Southwest.

Is it true that someday you will be number one on the senority list there?

Actually outer, you'd be surprised how little luck probably had to do with it.... judging by your posts though, you will probably be wasting your time by applying to other than contractors, you seem a tad bit bitter.... best of LUCK.

Don't worry about me. I have connections at DAL and SWA.

Just need to decide where to go when I have the time

As far as being bitter, how would that be,?I am glad that the majors outsource. That is how I have a job.
You calling someone bitter is like pot calling kettle

PS getting a job with 250 hours is luck, no matter how you look at it.

If your grammar and proofreading skills ever improve enough to get you a major interview and job offer, it'll be a freaking miracle. Not to worry, though: the Everest-sized chip on your shoulder will get you fired before you ever see the inside of the sim building. Reading your drivel is incredibly painful.

I bet I will bet you to working at a Major. I will treat you well as my FO :)

My bad, ,Southwest bought your regional airline and you won the lottery.
