Onboard with:

Blocking the ramp, blocking gates, blocking taxiways, making AMR pilots appear to be taxiing like SWA at MCI, ignoring FAA radio calls, ignoring ramp control radio calls, causing people to go around, taxiing slowly across runways, taking what seems like a half hour to complete a push back, and occasionally more often than not waiting on weight and balance at the #1, #2 positions for takeoff at the runway.

Hell yeah! I'm on board too!

Just so I make sure I'm "On Board", how long should it take me to taxi from the D gates in CLT out to 36C with no traffic in front of me? 10min, 20min or the 40min it took a US air guy last week?

If I had that lanyard right now I would "sharpie" the "on" out.

It's a "safety campaign". It means I'm on board with the "safety campaign". I do understand it's purpose, but do they expect a new contract without a list? That can't and won't happen, so I'm affraid this entire effort will do nothing but make me miss my commute.

If you were 64 and your FO was 59 you'd be doing the same thing

When I'm 64 my FO will be 67 (my wife). That's the closest thing that I will be to having an FO at the age of 64. I plan on leaving at 60.

Hey, be quiet. It's nice to see a union do more than collect dues for a change.
USAPA is not a union. It's a bunch of scam artists, liars and opportunists. No one outside of US Airways East has any respect for USAPA.

Sounds just like every union I know of...

What do the Easties really hope to get out of this mess Why don't they realize that the majority of their group will be gone in the next 5-10 years, and after that, the votes will shift in favor back to the west, and the NIC award will hold. It seems that in order to pursue their fantasy dream land of DOH, they are intentionally screwing themselves with a old contract, being the lowest paid legacy pilots in the industry, at a time when they should be building up their nest to retire.

Oops.

What is accomplished by disrupting OTHER airlines? When it becomes too much of a liability, what is to stop management from divesting itself completely from one part of the un-integrated operation? Does USAPA have the resources to fight that battle? What is to stop the Justice Dept. from taking action against interference with interstate commerce (ala RLA)? I mean it's illegal to stage a 'wildcat' slowdown against your own company (just ask AA, DL, UAL, UPS pilots). But, when it affects other companies, they're not going to sit by and watch.
