I'm guessing the 58 pilots who voted no thought about the United pilots who took an ownership position that ended up with nothing. Voting yes would make sense if the position couldn't be wiped out with a simple bankruptcy filing.

I can see it now. This year, BB sells almost all of Frontier to the employees for pay concesssions. Fast forward two years, BB puts Frontier in bankruptcy again and Republic buys the bankrupt company. Lorenzo would have been proud.

The Southwest Airlines guys are really pissed about Frontier making strides to be more competitive in such a cutthroat environment.

Oh yeah, and the Southwest pilots aren't happy either.

SWA dragged down this profession for Decades. Everybody knows this. Just because they get paid well NOW doesn't mean the damage wasn't done. A smug SWA guy bitching about another pilot group lowering the bar is absolutely laughable.
