You just keep puffing that pipe.(it is just the one half of your brain anyway) In the end remember it's not the contract your voting for. The representation that will negotiate and administer the joint CBA is what you will be voting for. Like it or not the TWU has what it takes to get the best deal. Of course you could vote "no representation" and get what the company deals you, it might be even better than what you have now!

onward and upward
(thanks c/r)

Doesnt TWU stand for Totally Worthless Union?

More likely than the $18/hr??

You're in luck! I hear there's a famous person by the name of Asia who might be able to help you, and she's a resident of SGU.

Come on SGU, that TWU is working for me right now to make sure my group gets a fair shake in merging with WN. I shudder to think what would happen if we did not have representation.

Maybe at the LCC level, but Homer's description pretty much applies to all TWU regional shops.

If that's true it's up to the members to get their leaders moving and shaking if they aren't doing the job, and if needed, get someone else in there to represent them and make sure the contract is enforced. We are all under the Int'l so there are options.

They haven't done anything spectacular for us...but I have my fingers crossed (not to mention other bendable appendages).

Or...you could have just stayed at OO, where they buy the other airlines, not the other way around. And just imagine how high on the list you'd be nowadays. ;)

Some things just weren't meant to be, like me staying in SGU. I'd be up there, but probably hoping I get that next $.25 raise in the next 5 years!
