feel like they are being thrown under the bus by management with this whole IAH (Continental) situation?
How's that St. George KOOL-AIDE now?
I'm a CAL pilot, this fight has to do with management not other pilots doing there job. Were all trying to make this a better career period.
Im sure Jerry and Chip fell the same. United tells SkyWest were we are going to fly.. We did'nt beg them for the IAH flying... They were just following UA orders... if not we go the way of AWAC and ACA...

Had a buddy Jumseat on Co yesterday...Captain pulls out a skywest seniority list to see if he's on it. He didn't even work for skywest and still checked his list...
Good luck to the skywest guys getting hired by an ALPA carrier the next few years...Those lists filter into the hiring review?
Yet another reason ALPA has become a joke...These Skywest pilots, some which are furloughed United pilots, didn't create this problem...ALPA created this problem 20 years ago when their ego was too good to fly little airplanes. Now you take it out on fellow pilots who are simply trying to make a living that was made more difficult by the very people who are now upset......Idiots...

I'm just observing that he may be at Skywest for a long career
Many of us at ASA/Skywest have made a career here because the mainline pilots sold this flying away because their egos were too good to fly these planes.....We don't really give a darn that they are now upset....Too bad, so sad...:bawling::bawling:
So what's happening in EWR and CLE? Are they flying the E170s out of there? How does their ALPA MEC condone such flights?
Just wondering...
Apparently the latest is that UniCAL is now reviewing the 70 seater shift into the CAL hubs. I would think that the Skywest pilots won't see all the shift into IAH that was expected, whether a total reverse will occur has not been decided.
Unions: The folks that brought you the weekend.

I don't think so either (not flying everything that they had planned). They are actually pushing back our bidding for Feb as UA is "renaming/fixing" all the flights...
I do feel thrown under the bus. But I'm also tired of the small group of CAL pilots going beserk (allegdely) on SkW folks jumpseating and such. I want to ask them if they want to sort that out in the parking lot ;-)
Im not a skyw dude but I know your not the only one who feels this way. This is a problem to be sorted out by CAL/UAL PILOTS AND THEIR MGT.
