Even if it takes 2 years to get what SWA has

It could take much, much, much longer. The 24 month fence agreement in the SWA Pilot contract can be ammended at any point with a side letter.

Don't look a gift horse in the mounth. You AirTran guys need to pass the word to your MEC that you don't want him to screw this thing up for you.

Welcome aboard.

This is what I think, ALPA knows they're gone when the integration is complete so they settled for this getting what they can rather than nothing later. Yes they take there dues out of your backpay/bonus, increased wages, etc..... Happy for the AAI folks, just can't stand the money hungry dirt bags in ALPA

Well it's a cold day in hell today, for sure. Now we get to see what kind of sh!t sandwich our MEC thinks we should swallow. Hate to be a pessimist, but I'm almost afraid of what they deemed acceptable. I pray I'm proved wrong.

Look me up when you get over here. You and I think a lot alike.

Gup

Heres the rumor. 5th year FO $91, 6th year $93, 10 year Cpt $158.. 12.5% retirement and $17 million for the bonus. Unfortunately, I think we got screwed. But due to the SWA deal, how long will guys be willing to fight when, from what I understand, the NMB has made it very clear they won't be releasing us now.

Is your source a reliable one? If it is a short term agreement with those numbers it will probably pass by a little.

I have heard the same rumors about never getting released. With that said we had no leverage. We get a raise and a retro check until we go to LUV or we get nothing. Tough choice. I guess we could vote it down and keep our current contract until integrated with LUV. I am sure a no vote would really show AAI management. Less pay until the last day. That will show em.

I hear ya. But if we wait until the Southwest deal closes. There will be no sigining bonus. That will all go away. Yes we will get a raise but Southwest has no obligation to give us a signing bonus. Just my 2 cents. I have heard that payrates are less than Alaska but more than JetBlue.

I'm not hating I'm just saying there is no way in hell you guys vote this down.

Hopefully knowing what you'll get when you get here will help. I'm pissed for you and I don't even work there.

I'm glad your management is going bye bye,
Gup
