With todays job market, younger may not equal the same age as in 2007, during the hiring boom, where it was mostly people up to their mid 30's that would gravitate toward a company such as AAY. Now days, younger may mean around 40 years of age.

The age for "younger" doesn't matter. Younger = lower class seniority = longer to get in the sim = longer to finish IOE.

Thanks for that point,. It adds to my point which is that the AVERAGE age very well might be higher due to todays job market.

I have searched the careers page on allegiant.com, but there isn't anything about pilot position openings. Is there somewhere else to go to get information on applying? Thanks for your help.

The application window on the website was only open for a few days in August. Other than internal rec. That is probably the only way to apply at this point.

Based on what I read on another forum calls went out yesterday and all interviews were scheduled. This is based on third party info over the interweb so take it for what it's worth. Hope it's not true, keep your fingers crossed.
