Recall of USAPA President Mike Cleary

It looks like there may be a recall in the works. Copy of the draft that is being circulated.

Under Section 8, F, of USAPA's Constitution and By-laws, it states as an Objective of USAPA : "disseminate information in any responsible manner to enhance the professional status of the membership and to ensure a fully informed membership."

As provided for in the USAPA Constitution and By-laws, under Article III, Section 9, A, 1, as a member in good standing, I am requesting of you as my Domicile Representative, to petition the BPR for a vote to recall President Mike Cleary for violations of Article VI Section A.2 and A.5. I believe President Mike Cleary ordered Secretary Treasurer Rob Streble and EVP Gary Hummel not to responsibly disseminate information to the membership during the PHX Domicile meeting on Aug 31st, 2010, which is therefore a clear violation of Article VI, Section A.2 and A.5.

Should it be found during your inquiry, that President Mike Cleary was not the Officer who ordered the above individuals to violate Section 8, F, in regards to the PHX membership, then as outlined in Article VI, Section C, 1, I am bringing charges against the Committee Member or Officer, Randy Mowry, who did order the above individuals to violate Section 8, F, in regards to the PHX membership. I believe only President Mike Cleary or Vice President Randy Mowry could have effectively ordered the Secretary Treasurer and EVP to vacate the premises without allowing them to responsibly disseminate information to our PHX domicile membership, however I will defer to the language of "Committee Member" as noted.

The "attacks" as you put it will NEVER end. Not until the abortion called USAPA is dead. East can be in control all they want, those union busters just have to come to grips with the fact that seniority integration is NOT THEIR CHOICE.

“Twenty-five percent (25%) of the active membership in good standing (not including apprentice or executive members) may petition the Secretary-Treasurer and cause a recall ballot be taken on any National Officer. The petition shall include the name of the office holder, the office held, the signature and printed name of each person signing the petition and the date of signature. All such petitions must bear a signature date no earlier than one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to submission to the Secretary-Treasurer. If a majority of the votes cast byeligible members voting on a recall ballot vote for recall, that National Officer shall be recalled and removed from office.”

Thanks for the support, Jim. It is people like our friend, Nic that give US Airways a black eye. When you see a Cactus Pilot badge backer, it is a pilot who has donated up to $3000 or more to protect our careers against their union. Pilots recognize this and have made comments. I'll provide a very direct examlple from one of our pilots:

Was on the van to the airport in SMF yesterday. A Southwest crew was on the van also, the SW F/O looks at me and says: "Cactus Pilot, you know you don't need to wear those, we can all tell the difference." Then walking throught the metal detector at the airport there was this exchange: TSA Guy: "Cactus Pilot", Me: "Yup", TSA: "East Pilots suck man!"

I'm not going to put all East pilots in that category but it does "suck" that they refuse to recognize binding arbitration. We are also going to take the keys away from people like Cleary and his supporter, Nic.
