Anybody got a clue? I haven't the foggiest. Sceduled for 8/10/2010 tomorrow.........
Damn. It can't be Soaper that was announced today. I bet we've been bought.
You know that feeling when you buy a lottery ticket and you start imagining all the great things that are going to happen because of the extra cash? This is the same thing, only in reverse. We are starting to imaging the worst, the end of our airline.
How does that lottery imagination usually work out? 99.9999999% of the time we don't win.
Don't borrow troubles.
I think you're saying there's a great chance it's good news for Comair.
No, all signs are pointing to it being a very bad day for Comair. Like him or not, Soaper leaving is one of those signs that you don't want to see right now. It's kind of like the boat builder getting into the lifeboat ahead of everybody else.
Maybe this guy is right: scroll to the bottom http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/regional/16575-comair-updates-1917.html
Flow-through agreement with Delta, upgrades, Comair hiring in Oct.?
If anything is happening tomorrow your MEC will have all been pulled off line today. Thats what happened at mesaba and compass the day before the sale.
Rumor has it that the Comair MEC has been under a mandated "gag" order for the last week or two.
The rumor goes further to say that some Comair pilots will like and benefit from the rumored announcement while an equal number will hate it. The MEC supposedly had to make a quick and ill informed decision.
We'll see.

I'm surprised that DS leaving Comair didn't make the papers yesterday. Usually, the CE is on top of all of Comair's news.
