You know that feeling when you buy a lottery ticket and you start imagining all the great things that are going to happen because of the extra cash? This is the same thing, only in reverse. We are starting to imaging the worst, the end of our airline.

How does that lottery imagination usually work out? 99.9999999% of the time we don't win.

Don't borrow troubles.
 
So is Comair going to push for 1 list? Skywest, Express Jet, ASA and Comair. Now THATS a Super Regional!
 
Heck, maybe SkyWest is tossing another friend into our ASA/XJT hot tub of silliness.

No, all signs are pointing to it being a very bad day for Comair. Like him or not, Soaper leaving is one of those signs that you don't want to see right now. It's kind of like the boat builder getting into the lifeboat ahead of everybody else.

Wait you might be on to something here. Right after this announcement that Lee Moak is stepping down so JC Lawson can take over at DALPA. The Comair ship has been sinking for years and I think tomorrow Delta will be putting the old dog out of its misery. (moment of silence) Sorry but reality sucks.
 
If anything is happening tomorrow your MEC will have all been pulled off line today. Thats what happened at mesaba and compass the day before the sale.
 
Rumor has it that the Comair MEC has been under a mandated "gag" order for the last week or two.

The rumor goes further to say that some Comair pilots will like and benefit from the rumored announcement while an equal number will hate it. The MEC supposedly had to make a quick and ill informed decision.

We'll see.
 
My husband is a status rep. for OH F/os. He has heard nothing. He is doing a representation case today. He got alot of calls last night about the rumor that's been going around. He hasn't heard anything but a couple higher ups in the MEC didn't return his call as he did ask for any info on this big announcment.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a prenup. for an asset sale with the ability to transfer without longevity or with partial longevity.

900's and 700's sold to Skywest inc? Rest of Comair to be shut down. Lottery style drawing to decide who gets to go with the planes. Junior FO now becomes senior to 30 year captain and gets to tell him to shut up a clap on thier next 4 day.

Hopefully everyone can tell where the sarcasm starts in this. (hint sentence 3)
