Delta was never fond of the flow-up anyway. There will be a few classes with flow-ups and then it will cease. I know it sounds arrogant but it is what it is. Best of luck to all involved.

This opens up slots in the future for Delta to interview who they want.

Lee Moak is not a fan of the flow-up either. So with DL management and our DL MEC against the flow, it is a guarantee that the flow will soon be eliminated. It will be interesting to see if the pilots currently at Mesaba and Compass still are offered a flow up as planned.

You make moves in this industry based on what is announced, not what will be coming down the pike. With that said, OH has no more options.

I remember it was like yesterday that Delta was contemplating furloughs, but it was Compass's flow-through (among other things) that saved a LOT of our bacons. Now that the flow is all but gone, our Delta mgmt just found a way to cheaply furlough at will from now on.

I can only shake my head when we didn't go ahead and pursue stapling the CPZ guys when we had a chance... that ship has sailed.

Yeah, and then what? Delta would have sent the E-175s to Republic or someone else, and then the Compass pilots would have been on the street.

I am all for putting regional flying on our list. But, you have to fix scope first. Absent scope that assures us that flying, Delta will just sell those jets to another regional and we have accomplished nothing.

yeah, but the delta pilots get to keep their jobs. thats all he was getting at.

DAL cracks me up. Didn't we already go through this when they bought ASA and CMR???? The same tagline was used then, "to streamline and to control costs." Then they decided to farm out to anyone that would do the flights like CHQ, Mesa, Pinnacle, Eagle, and a few others to create competition to save money. Now they want to "streamline" again. How many times will they repeat the same "original" ideas???

Yep. Can't remember when did they announce a significant deal on a webcast, or a proper media outlet. Heck, it's not even on our DeltaNet this morning! I had to find that out on facebook!
