I'm just saying....

Shoot, even Airtran and Allegiant are better.

Yes VA pay is low. To say that our pay is less than spirit and airtran is inaccurate, but you are correct about allegiant. I am sure you are getting your info from airlinepilotcentral.com, which our new pay scale will be updated soon. I am currently on 3rd year fo pay which is 65 an hour and in my opinion is low. Spirit is 62 on A321 and Airtran is 61. Relief Tube I do know what you are saying but don't worry this isn't the first rodeo for VA pilots. Best wishes to Spirit pilots on getting a new contract.

You guys are so sick of republic, mesa, skywest, go jet, and eagle and wanna move on great. Complain about VA when all you guys wanna work there (Or other carriers Mentioned) . I work for one of the carriers mentioned and every time I jumpseat it’s “When you guys hiring” or “Will you help me out” Let UM get started and figure it out. It worked for those Southwest guys right…. The guy making this thread is a republic pilot how much you guys wanna bet…Over it

Those "uniforms" are bad enough!! I wouldn't be caught in one, at least not for that amount of money!

They are darling-;)

Remember that even though you can ‘dress up a pig’, in the end, a pig is still a pig.

Yeah good luck to 'em but your pay is still sh8t.

This thread is proof that it takes a while after leaving the regionals to get rid of that regional mentality.

This thread is proof that there are quite a few pilots out there who need to get over themselves. If you ever flew an RJ on a former mainline route, you can shut the he.. up right now hypocrite.

Oh look, a JBLU d ******************************. I and many of us at VA were making much more than you JBLU d ****************************** bags who helped usher in low wages. Many of our previous companies unfortunately no longer exist and we are starting from scratch. Do to you w************************* our wages at VA start low, thanks a lot di*k heads for providing a sample of just how little you can make to fly a bus. As for Alpa, you can thank them for giving away all our pensions and voting themselves a pay raise while many of our colleagues took major pay cuts (think 911) and for that I will never vote for those crooks again. Last I checked and can confirm we continue to see raises and benefits at VA even though we have yet to make a profit. Wages here are increasing yearly as well as work rules (and will take time to reach a reasonable level). Soon you can find somebody else to run your punk a** mouth at.

And as far as uniforms go, I will take my uniform to that lame dark blue shirt you wear. How many times are you complemented by paxs on how refreshing it is to see a descent uniform? I'm betting none.

I feel sorry for the many fine JBLU pilots who have to tolerate your dumba**.

Wow, I just realized you were a regional pilot. That makes you even that more of a dumba** for running your mouth. Which you really have no right to run.

Wait, you bash and insult JBLU pilots in the first 2 paragraphs and then call us fine JBLU pilots in your last statement? Truly dude, you are a tool and VA, your pay and your disco shirt along with your anti-ALPA sentiment sucks.

VA is a Branson pet project and the only reason you are in business is because of his deep pockets.
