Spoken from a guy who flew at Colgan and now AirTran. Pot, meet kettle. Ask the XJT and Piedmont guys how much they love Colgan bubbas...

See,what ya got here AE,is the backside of "SJS"-it's ok if "I" do it,but if YOU do it,well, you're just some scum bottom feeder.CoolSidePilllow was really "defending the profession" by flying for those massive Colgan wages ,see ? Here comes his excuse..wait for it:"Yeah, but I wuz flyin' a Saab, not an EMB190 !" I'm sure Colgan was his first choice...OK,well,a true martyr would have picked Great Lakes, sine Mesa parked the 1900's.Now,he's livin' large, chest swelled with pride, making the big bucks at the Tranny-aren't you jealous ? Hey,here's an idea:Let's start another online petition...One where you post your real name ,avowing you will deny all RAH jumpseaters and will never ,under any circumstances, work for any RAH company or even request a jumpseat on any RAH aircraft. What say, hmmm ? Any takers ? I'd bet not.

Well said bluestreak. Way too many former regional pilots on here shaking a stick at current ones. Almost without fail, our goals there were get in and get out with 1000pic. The regionals that offeted that the quickest were the ones who were growing fast. And they were growing fast because they were successful at growing and gaining new contracts, and they did that by... Well you get the gist. Nothing in the world forfeits your right to respect more than a "it was okay when i did it, but not for you" attitude.

Lets take a look at a few things:

1: 1978 Us Government deregulates the Airlines.
2: Mainline Pilots, Sell out their Jr Brethren and refusing to fly the Rj's
3: Low Cost Airlines start up, driving down salaries and benefits.
4: Scope is relieved , so out come the Regional Airlines.

Hence We should ALL be flying at Mainline Carrier's but because of the the 4 things above we are not!!!!

A: RAH is not responsible for the turmoil in the industry.
B: Pilots Fly airplanes, they do not negotiate for their companies for additional flying, or the purchase of 2 financially unstable airlines, that is management's job.
C: Business is Business, plain and simple. Companies rise and Fall all the time, not just in our industry but in "ALL" industries. You might as well then spit at Walmart Vs. Kmart, Dell Vs Hewlett Packard, McDonald's, VS Burger King. Every business is vying for their piece of the pie. It's not about you and me, it's about $$$$$$$$$$$ for the business as a whole.

People need to think outside the box and look at things as a whole. Yes the truth hurts, but it is what it is Business!!!! If your not happy Flying Airplanes then you have a Choice to make!!! Pointing Fingers is a loosing Scapegoat!!

dude youre so right, we should all work for lower wages, therefore enabling mgt to buy other airlines and make their pilot group work for peanuts too.
its just buisness, but there again so is dealing heroin, its all about $$$$$$$$$$. who gives a sh1t what happens to the lives youre scewing up, its all about money.
grow up.

If you have a dog in the fight, and I bet you don't, express your concerns to those representing you just like we are.

Otherwise, grow a pair and stop running off at the mouth.

well guess what moron, every pilot in this country has a dog in this fight, its not about whats good for your pilot group, its about whats good for the profession. the sooner idiots like you realise that the better.
Lowering the bar for your groups personal gain only benifits you, raising the bar each time helps every pilot.
grow up and start acting like a professional, then you can stop pretending your are one.

Go back and re-read the 1ST part of my post, because all your doing is Pi$$ing in the wind. I never said we should work for lower wages I was pointing out reasons why we are. AND IT'S NOT MY FAULT!

Yes we need to get this industry turned around but it is what it is. Business. Unions are in bed with management and do not have to pull they use to. They are money hungry fiends and could give a rat's crap about you and me.

Last time I checked I just drive the bus I don't make the business decisions.

P.S. Next time your going to criticize me, at least make sure you use proper spelling.

nice, wow, correcting my spelling. sweet. "re-read"? what the f is that? moron.
i might miss hit a key on the key board, but you make f ing words up. idiot.

get a life, and stop defending your stupid decisions. it is your fault and all the other tosers who lower themselves in a hope that one day theyll get somewhere in life, not realising that they are bringing the whole industry down with them.
good work donkey dick.

LMFAO. You should worry more about your own airline and stop wasting your time worrying about ours. What in the world have you been up to?

Rob, you know good and well that you guys are flying that airplane too cheap. I get it that those rates were agreed to before you got there and before the 190 got there, but there's no way you can sit there with a straight face and tell me that this hasn't hurt the profession. What's going on with Midwest proves it.

As far as what I've been up to? Flying an 8 seat jet and getting paid what your captains get paid for flying 70 seats. I was hoping you'd jump in over here too, but I'm glad for your sake you didn't. Gonna be lots of us hitting the street soon.
