Should be in your FOM jumpseat priority list/decision tree... your guess is as good as mine as to what shade of cyan, salman, pink, fuscha or whater color it may be...

I was asking about the JS on Mesaba/Pinnacle aircraft. ie...what's in their FOM. I'm hearing 1st come/1st serve for everyone except their own. Is this actually what's in their FOM? Does a Mesa pilot have equal priority to a DAL-N pilot on a Pinnacle/Mesaba flight?

I jumpseated on a Delta/NW flight to MKE out of MSP last week, no problem. Hell, they gave me first class. I'm an L4 pilot FWIW

I know what a crossfleeted flight is... I was checking to see if what the poster meant in regards to that is the same as what we understand crossfleeting to be.
My apologies, I guess I misunderstood your question.

Here is the priority for Jumpseating on Mesaba....

Priority 1
1-FAA
2-Secret Service
3-Check Airmen
Priority 2
1-Pilots and Dispatchers on Company Business
2-Mgmt

I'm pretty sure the FAA only gets the #1 priority if they are on official checking business.

Of course, they always say they are, although I had one guy I really, seriously questioned coming back with his whole family from vacation using the "checking" excuse to bump one of our own.

I don't know why the rest didn't come through.. but here is the rest of what I originally tried to post..

Priority 3
XJ Pilots and dispatchers on personal travel

Priority 4
NWA, DAL, Compass, Comair, Pinnacle (not in any particular order) .. and then all other CASS approved airlines are in this priority level as well..
--There is a note that talks about Priority Privilege for NWA, DAL, Compass, Comair, Pinnacle that sounds to me like these 5 will come before all other CASS approved carriers until 30 minutes prior to departure.. after that, everyone is equal..

Hope this helps..

Thanks Jamis. It answers my question for XJ.
