The strike authorization vote ended today. 96% voted yes. The percentage of eligible voters that actually voted to be announced at a later time.

Again?

What does that mean or do? Not jack sh*t

It will help when they get released. If you don't understand, someone else can explain the process to you.

Don't get me wrong. I hope the pilots stick it to them hard! but in this day in age I wonder what striking actually gets anyone. Seems like judges and arbitrators side with management.

They need to take out GoJets. Any place we can send money to support TSA?

HK will shut that place down..... have fun with a " last stand " at the regional level.

Not the place to fight..... when there are plenty of other pilots at RAH, Skywest or any other regional that will fly the UAX flying.

Should be entertaining

In the mean time, just relAX :-)

When you set up a fund, PM me. I'd like to donate.

You're using too many words that don't go together in the same sentence.

Management and Principle? Management and learn? It will never happed.

Congrats on the vote, but dont get yourselves too excited to strike, it will never happen. Just asked the PCL guys. NMB will never release you, and if for some reason they do, ALPO will come up with every excuse not to strike.

NMB under new mgmt. 2 of 3 board members now are previous airline labor.
See for yourself:

Hopefully our chances got a little better.

Wow, so they MUST be in favor of the pilots!
Just like the ALPA National guys who went to work for UAL management. They had their fun crapping on the same pilot group they worked for.

96% is kind of whimpy for a strike vote and the fact that they haven't
announced voter participation yet doesn't sound good either.

I bet less than 100 guys voted.
As far as the 96%, you'd think how bad they complain about management, it would be 100%. It sounds like 4% probably have faith in management over ALPA.
