mm yeah, the brazilians can't air condition a plane properly, and the canucks can't get a plane to climb with anti-ice on (or really climb much at all) go figure

Ever fly the E-120? Yeah.... I didn't think so. If you had you would have probably developed a less-than-positive image of that beaner-hell-hole!

-Compared to that little aluminum death-trap, the CRJ is the shizzle! You have to have some perspective......
 
In the E120 it usually meant that the strut was bottoming out while taxing around. It can be caused by underserviced nose struts, forward CG, or a combination of the two.

Hard landings--dropping the nose, or landing on it can contribute to it as it wears on the parts.

That can be repaired, usually easily with a nitrogen charge. However, if it is not written up, it will never get fixed.

In the E120, you could always feel it and hear it.
