Sounds just like what Freddy Laker did with those DC-10's out of MCO back in the mid 90's. That did not do to well either.

i spoke the the hr lady back in augustish of 2008--- sounded like she was working from home as i could hear the babies crying in the background---

Nothing really to offer it was a borderline phone interview- why do you want to work here- what is your background, experience, why do you want to work here etc. took less than 15 minutes.

never heard a thing.

just giving ot some info

Q: Why do you want to work here?

Answer A: Well, I would'nt really say that I want to work here...It's just that you seem to have some sort of job that I might piss away my time at until something else comes along.

Answer B: For good of State, Country, and Motherland! And to drink Wodka !

DA!

Baltia HR team said:
Policy Highlights
The pioneers of Baltia set out to build a quality airline based on the concept that the long-term success of a business enterprise depends on, among other things, it being well organized with clearly defined policies and the enduring quality of its personnel. Our guiding principles are:
One Company – One Team. Baltia’s personnel work together to produce efficient, high-quality transport for passengers and shippers, and to market these services effectively.

Company Culture. Our business culture is based on European-American traditions of genuine “old world” quality, reliability, subtle elegance, impeccable attire, and individual respect.

Standards of Excellence. At all levels of the organization, the company retains only those individuals whom the company considers excellent. Attitude is a key factor.
The reason Baltia Air Lines exists as a commercial enterprise that employs anyone, is to serve the transportation needs of passengers and shippers. Employment is based on the company’s need to fill a position as well as having continued high confidence in the individual filling that position.
Baltia does not have professional group privileges, seniority privileges, bidding for duty assignment, disciplinary procedures, furlough provisions, or job security.
The company cares equally about all of its employees. Irrespective of occupations, employees are subject to one personnel policy and compensation system.
Hiring Process
Baltia’s hiring process consists of three stages: pre-application, application, and initial training.
Pre-Application Stage. A person interested in employment at Baltia should send his or her resume to the Director of Personnel. Resumes are sorted and filed by occupation (after a period of time, resumes are removed from our files). When a position opening occurs, several of the resumes are selected. The Director of Personnel contacts the candidates and schedules interviews.

Application Stage. The applicants complete Baltia’s employment application form and are interviewed. The lead applicant has his or her background checked and undergoes a medical examination. If the applicant successfully completes the steps, he or she is scheduled for training.

Initial Training Stage. The trainee undergoes general training and position training. If the trainee successfully completes the initial training, he or she becomes an employee and is scheduled for duty.
