Those wheels are really sweet! They will go GREAT with my new frosted 'do! My back pack is red, so they should match nicely. With my sunglasses on the back of my head, I should look really professional!

My daughter wants me to get pink wheels, but might give the male FAs the wrong impression, so I think I will skip that one.

Seriously, thanks for the input.

For luggage works - if you live in a town or city that has a bearing supply house you can easily replace the 4 bearings with quality sealed ones for under $20. It's worth the few extra dollars but if you want cheaper you can buy roller blade wheel sets at the sporting goods store.

Or you can order wheels and bearings from luggage works for a reasonable cost.

Gup

if you have a Play It Again Sports near you, you can usually get two wheels and bearings for under $10. Take the old wheel with you and they will set you up.

For the LW wheels, go by the stopover store if you're in msp or dtw. They replaced one of mine last yr for less than 5 bucs. Inline wheels aren't cheap, esp when u have to buy a set of 4 plus bearings!

You can get a set pretty cheap. They will not wear out unlike those POS wheels that come with the bag. Here are some on ebay that are less than 10 bucks for 4 of them (includes bearings). Although you might go with the 60 mm so it will fit, but do a search on ebay.

Keep the old wheels. Your bag is more impressive if it has sparks shooting out of it while being dragged through the terminal.

Considering I don't drag mine around for a living (though, still worth every penny taking into account the increased amount of travel I've had to do lately)...I felt like I should pull it around town behind my car for a day or two just to increase it's "character" a little bit.

My bag already has a ton of character! It is looks like it belongs to the guy who lives under the highways overpass, but it is till functional and gets the job done. I replaced the wheels today... Couldn't find them sold singularly so I bought a set. Yeah it was a chunk of change, but it beats dragging the thing around digging grooves in the floor for the next four days.

...Then again, what an economic statement that would have made ("look at that bag! That guy is CHEAP!")
