....and you are wondering why? In case you haven't been watching the news Pinnacle Corp's civil liability exposure just went through the roof. You can bet the execs are already looking for ways to blame this on the pilots. Thankfully, ALPA will be fighting for the deceased crewmembers.

I wasn't wondering why. I also don't think insurance premiums go up until cause is determined, although I don't really know.

God bless to all involved directly and indirectly.

Colgan pilots did well for themsleves to bring in ALPA. In addition, they are a very new ALPA group, yet they have the solid experience of the PCL MEC... In addtion I understand about 15 ALPA reps went active to BUF, including CAL and UAL....

Imagine being at Skywest or JB..... chilling....

Hey Rez.......Relax buddy. I'm suuuuuuure that SkyWest Management would pony up to the plate to look after the best interests of the crew's families. After all, they're management- what could possibly go wrong??????

Wow. Does the word "zealot" mean anything to you?

Wow Rez,

You just hit a "new low" in membership recruitment, nice job!

Yhea ALP has experience with fatal accident investigation at Pinnacle. After all this is the SECOND fatal accident for this organization.

So out of 4 fatal accidents involving the regionals, Pinnacle has had TWO!

Think there may be a reason?

BS pure BS grow up be a part of the solution not take cheap shots from your computer. Both are professional groups, I'd fly in the back with them anyday.

Pinnacle management does put safety well behind savings. Pinnacle pilots do not. Nice cheap shot toolbag.

Once again, as usual the point is missed on FI....

I'd ride in the back of OO or JB as well....

The point was having the support system of a union, ALPA preferred, if an accident were to occur.

Is there a Skywest pilot or JB pilot that thinks post accident support is undesirable...

As much as I loath the OO and JB pilots for being free loaders, If I happened to be near a OO/JB aircraft during an incident or accident, I would put my accident response skills from ALPA to work for those pilots and crew.....

It is all about support and resources....

Maybe only 4 in your 36 month long regional airline career.
