The Pres. of the 1224 then instead of contacting 017's Chair, complained to the President of ALPA National. He responded back that the company had approached us about reduced rates, and we nixed it. He also suggested that perhaps next time he consider contacting 017 directly about things. This was sent 3 days after your little diatribe. Your take on things is utterly amazing. What's even more fascinating is that you are a lone gun on this.

I am going to respond to your baseless round of insulting BS once, so listen and listen carefully:

First of all, this is not the first time Aviatrix and I have been compared. Which is funny. Had you bothered to go back and look at MY history, there is nothing similar about my style and hers - I have an entirely different writing style and the subject material I have chosen to respond to and even the way in which I choose to respond is entirely different. By all accounts, Aviatrix would appear to be a southern bell; I am a Pacific Northwesterner, born and raised. (nice corroboration - NOT) In addition to that, nor is there a resemblance to our careers, it would seem.

Secondly, I have been around here (FI) for quite a few years now, using the same screen name, which was conceived long before they started charging for one. Previous to that, I was here as Fly Princess, but that was YEARS ago... and they deleted my acct. for non-usage. For the record, I wouldn't spend 10 bucks on it!

And lastly, if I was going to have another screen name, I sure as he11 wouldn't be that obvious about it. I barely even sign onto this board anymore, given the fact that all the paranoids and gossip mongers are what seem to hang out here the most these days, and they ad little or nothing cohesive or relevant to the issues I am interested in. Talking heads. That isn't to say I haven't run across some geuninely friendly, helpful and knowledgable people here - you are apparently not one of them.

As for my initial reply to this thread, I was commenting on an ongoing matter here that I don't believe you have been involved with (though I have not checked, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong) - you see, there's this little feature called email notification that puts an email out to me, telling me when a threat I have subscribed to gets commented on, so that I may reply if I am so inclined.

But you know what?? Either way, I don't see why a professional with any integrity would even bother to make comments like that, period. What the fawk do you even care? Or why would anyone for that matter?

This is a forum for pilots (theoretically) and other aviation enthusiasts to come and weigh in on shared issues and ideas. If you seriously think you can hide behind your computer and lecture people on etiquette or tell someone off, which - let's be honest here; you wouldn't have the audacity to do vis-a-vis, I am sure! - then either make sure you have the right person or STFU!

I do invite you though, to ask the moderator to verify that I am indeed a DIFFERENT person coming to you from a different area of the country entirely (they can tell that by the IP addy for those of you still stuck in the dark ages.)

As for any future arguments? If you please, you can go ahead and leave me OUT. I am going downstairs to have a glass of wine (which I have it on good authority that Aviatrix does not like, by the way) - best to you. Good day!
