Then subtract the cost of a visit to a training center very 6 months....that $62k a year gets mighty small mighty quick!

I was offered a similar type arrangement once, it was just paid on a per diem type basis, without benefits, but training was paid for.

But back to the original post, I haven't met many flight attendants that make $62k a year.
 
The problem is you don't get paid for the 2 days of travel (according to the post I saw). So your 8 days of pay is now 6...do the math on that and get back to me. After you pay your own social security tax and oh yeah you get to pay your own health insurance too, that decent pay starts to look pretty bad.

The way I read it it says you are paid of travel days. Just not "off" days.

62K is not horridly low for a C.J. At least not in the southeast.

Never heard of a first year airline F/A making 62K. If they are. That is part of the problem.

The post I was referring to was not on this website. It was this same job posted on an employment site. I'm not sure why we are even discussing a jet captains pay in the same sentance as a first year FA anyway.
