Yup. It sucks.

'But it could suck more' is a terrible way to look at things, but it could.

I got a vacation coming up. I bought tickets.

I hope you didn't buy them on Delta, I know I sure wouldn't. What a bunch of crap!

What we are now going to see is the "new NWA" which will behave like an 800 lb gorilla and hose customers and employees equally.

-Maybe people should go back and read all my earlier rants about how NWA hijacked this once great airline..... Delta is gone in all but its name.....

Anyone here see a trend?
  1. ESPP "enhanced" to only give 5% discount at the closing date
  2. Service award dinner "enhanced" by giving out trinkets from a catalog after 10 years of service instead of a banquet
  3. Non-rev travel "enhanced" with quadruple+ what I am paying now
Have I missed a memo about the doors closing soon?

How about discontinuing these ridiculous ASA All-star posters and programs, followed by the endless newsletters from the GO outlining pointless news.

Stop talking to us like children. Don't put out an e-mail titled "ASA to enhance ESPP!" like it is good news and then tell us 3 paragraphs down that is is a reduction of benefits. Like last year "ASA negotiates deal to eliminate copay with UHC!!" and oh, by the way 3 paragraphs down, now you have a $20,000 deductable

Sorry....had to vent....rant over

Great post, make it more PC and email it to Brad Holt.

Renew your benefits now... This will be your last time to enjoy them before its all over. We should raise hell through the union... These fees can be renegotiated.

It seems that being owned by Delta really IS everything.

Do not worry, none of the DAL guys can get on their jets either. I pay the fee so that I can book Family Fares. I have bought tickets everywhere I have gone for the last four years.
Once you fly on a paid ticket and see all of the non-revs that do not get on it will be very hard to go back.
Of course commuters cannot do this. But Family Fares are 20% off the lowest fare for the given itinerary. IE shop delta.com first.

I am sure that there will be fare increases coming to DAL peeps too. Plus, NWA did not have Buddy Pass riders. Hope we keep that too.

Really.....

Delta is a worthless company with worthless management.

That employs you, carries millions of pax annually, and provides you with benefits. How bout you just stick to asa and skywest flights for nonrev, then you won't have anything to complain about. Fact is, people aren't quitting yet, so the hits will continue......

ASA no longer receives Family Fares benefits.

WTF? damn near all of us "waste" far more than that at Starbucks on burnt coffee and latte's....

Feeling ripped off? don't pay it:)

You're still working.......

Yeah I still have a job, so I don't care how much they arbitrarily take away
