When the economy picks back up and hiring starts again, which of these two airlines do you think is the better career choice?

I don't think Family Airlines has PBS and they are suppose to have health benefits for new hires so, I'm leaning towards them. LOL

well there's a good chance that Continental will survive more than 7 or 8 months so...

(of course I said the same thing about JetBlue in 1999)

Well, since you couldn't get hired by Continental - I guess Family Airlines would be your best shot!

Family would turn you down like every other carrier in the universe.. I don't even think Family would take the $50 application fee from you. Better yet, you'd be dumb enough to send it.

Pocohole, how are those pay cuts and furloughs working out over there at XJET these days? Rumor has it you will be losing more airplanes soon as Colgan keeps taking an increasing amount of XJET flying. Seeing as you are a lifer in the RJ, (lifer..lmao) that is going to sting even worse than your rejection from CAL.

Pocono pilot is a regional lifer. She relied on her sex to try and get on at United. She failed. Now she i stuck at Xjet forever, and her salary is maxed out. To make herself feel better about this, she bashes more fortunate mainline employees.

A little scorned maybe? Nah, not Pocohole she is a level headed individual. Smart and in control of her destiny. We could all learn from Pocohole and her wise career choices.

I am curious Pocohole, did you ever find out who burned you at CAL? I have a feeling it was your old Express coworkers.

Family is the only way to go!!! Only a fool would pick CAL over Family.

Hi again Poco, I see your back on. Yes I'd be glad to take you to lunch in IAH next Tuesday; drop me a note.

So we have something to talk, tell me what happened on that CO interview, and how did that whole job thing a UA turn out? You told all of us that it was a done deal, care to share why it didn't come through?

The technical interview ate her alive as does most who don't get on there....and then they sit here and bash UAL for it.

You just couldn't post it without saying "LOL" at the end could ya.

Boy, you can say that again spitfire

I couldn't have said it better mysef. LOL ;-)

LOL. You're a bimbo. That's so funny. LOL. I can't help myself. ROFLMAO. Making fun of CAL is so funny.

On a more serious note, I can't stand the senior rats at CAL that have their jobs at the expense of others who were trying to protect the profession.

CAL has bases in Houston, Cleveland and Newark.

Family Airlines does not have bases in Houston, Cleveland or Newark.

Point, Family Airlines.
