You are making it more complicated than it is. Compass pilots would rather be flying for NWA because it would be a better job. I'm not sure why bankruptcy is relevant to the conversation. Compass was created without input from Compass pilots. If we had been involved in the process of creating the company we'd have chosen to put the airplanes at NWA. It's pretty simple.

Sure you would rather be flying for NWA. Yes, it would be a better job.

B.K. is relevent because Compass would have never been formed.

Yes, compass was formed without compass pilot imput. Because they form a corporation first, then they hire the pilots.

Sure you would have put the planes at NWA, then you could have applied to NWA instead of Compass.\

But you did not. You applied to Compass and now you want to work for NWA. And you blame B.K. for messing it all up. However, if not for B.K. you would not have been able to apply to Compass. Am I wrong?

Good grief.

What is so hard about this?

NWA enters bankruptcy

Compass is formed

New NWA contract in place

When did I ever say the order was different?

What I said several times and so did Drew, is that all pilots, NWA or Compass, prefer that the flying never had left mainline (and Compass never would have been created).

I prefer that the flying never left Mainline either. I prefer that compass was never created either. Ok, we agree on that.

So explain your problem from there on in. Ok.

Also, you speak of a new NWA contract? Is compass included in that?

I think you are reading what I wrote too deeply or something.

All I originally meant was, there should not be any animosity towards Compass pilots from DAL/NWA pilots because Compass pilots had no say in how the scope was changed at mainline. Only later on did Compass start receiving airplanes and hiring.

Despite what some NWA pilots may believe (a minority from what I gather), Compass is no different than ExpressJet, SkyWest, Mesa, Republic, or any other contractor. They're simply the most recent creation.

Oh my gosh!! Are you smoking crack? Are you f'ing with me? Are you kidding me? Would someone please chime in. I'll reply to this after I get some sleep. I can not beleive this. We will get this straight. I promise. In the morning, for sure. No disrespect intended.

So you would favor the return of the compass fleet to mainline even though it would cost you your job? or is your preference conditional on your job moving with it to mainline?

Thank you for understanding this and spreading the word.

There isn't ONE pilot at Compass who likes the fact that he or she is flying a flight that should be a mainline leg.

If it weren't for the corrupt bankruptcy mess it still would be a mainline leg and both Compass pilots and Northwest pilots want it to be mainline.

This was the post that I started referencing. If this guy was a pink slipped NW pilot I would understand.
However, please insert any regional pilot talking to his MEC here:

"Well, you see sir, if it wasn't for all that SCOPE mess that was created while I was on the street then my jet job would have been a mainline flight. Sooo I think you should put me on the mainline list with DOH and back pay of coarse. Don't you agree? I know mainline wants it to be a mainline flight."
