Check out the end (around 4:20) when he talks about getting rid of older planes faster. Are the arbitrators going to see this???

Make sure the NWA attorney who said the DC9s would last forever at the SLI hearing gets a look at this.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I'm not really sure why we want to poke sticks at each other. It's totally out of our hands. There's only a few people on each side that have any control over strategy and three arbitrators that will dictate the result. Nothing said here will have any effect except to piss each other off. What kind of post merger work environment do we want?

It will get ugly like it did that time. Once the list comes out and we have all licked out paws and calmed down, it will be like it was up to last week on this board.
It is fun to have a spirited debate about these things. Heck it is a lot better than the ALPA national board.

Noserider, thank you! That's refreshing.

There are 10 DAL guys at my reserve unit, 9 out of 10 are cool dudes that I have no doubt will treat the NWA guys with mutual respect.

I look forward to flying with 95% of the DAL group. Those throwing insults here need to look in the mirror.

Throwing insults? C'mon, that's a bit dramatic. I think GL was pointing out some contentious facts at the moment. This too will pass.

You are right, there were no insults on this thread. That's what was "refreshing." Look at the other threads and you will see what I mean.

If you don't see any insults and cat-fighting on the "mega-10-page-posts" then I'll have my eye-sight checked.

Sorry to belabor my small and insignificant point, but it was nice to read Noserider's post. That simple.

I now predict that due to a lack of mud-slinging, this tread will drift off into FI oblivion.

Probably true, but it is good to state that even though we are having a heated debate, it to will pass and we ALL will move beyond it.
