DAL Pilots, whats up with the Flair?

I just got my one-year service pin and it looks nothing like the ones everyone else has. It is totally silver with no color on the widget. Also, the wings have a slightly different shape in that proportionally the widget is larger than the wings. Kinda weird lookin.

Chicks dig the flair. They do. And it goes great with the double breasted uniform. You guys will look FANTASTIC in it, and you won't look like the local car mechanic in Rochester,MN wearing the leather jacket with no hat. And think, in a possible emergency, you may actually get people to follow your instructions, rather than ask "hey Fonzi, where's the shark jump?" Regardless, welcome aboard!
