If SWA is going to be "overmanned" come January, why are they having the classes (albiet the fini '08 classes) this month? Sounds like the guys already out there aren't in a real welcoming mood.

My buddy told me that the union prez wanted the company to stop hiring. I guess folks are worried that there will be less flying to split up among an even bigger group of pilots.

Most of my flying is VJA however....

Nice....however, that seems to be drying up in the "southern tier" bases.

Hope it keeps working for you....it was nice for me while it lasted.

Swa guy and I make the same the difference is I never pick up or vja. I know what I am doing every day of the month. My VJA is called a stippen from Uncle Sam for 28yrs of service.
