For a 1st year guy, the toughest part of picking up at 2nd year pay is going to be the days you'll spend commuting back and forth to OAK. With the slowdown, it may take a while to get to HOU, if that's where you want to be.
I spent my first 10 month commuting, which wasn't a big deal, but it did impact how much open time I felt like picking up.
Year 1: $57k
Year 2: $103k
Year 3: $115k to 120k is what it's looking like.
I don't fly nearly as much as some guys, so you can add quite a bit to those numbers if you're not as lazy as I am.
Even if you get stuck commuting to OAK for a year, it's still a great place to work.
