I wouldn't $hit diarrhea on your face if your brain was on fire. I pray you come down with hemmorrhagic fever as well. Have a nice day :)

Unfortunately we may, probably will, have furlough notices going out shortly.

Umm, let me guess, you've been stranded on a desert island for about the last six months?

148 furlough letters went out today, DOH 4 Dec 07 and later (I'm in there).
And to twist the knife a little further, Ops extends the Voluntary Junior Manning bull$hit another week.

"If you are available to fly, please consider taking advantage of this program to help us

cover the operation.
Regards,
Captain R. J. Starley"

I'm sure all the Scabtains in EWR and IAH are salivating all over that one some more...

We have certain dooshbag CA in EWR who are picking up flying as FOs for 150% pay, thus fixing the CALs staffing problems just in time to kick folks to the street.

What kind of Union would allow this?
Alpa better wake up and take a stance.
But I doubt it.

My friend just called and told me about this, he will be getting his letter soon. I am going to do my best to get him over here at NJA. Good luck to all involved in this furlough and hopefully things work out.

My chest is tight and I can't get a breath; please don't post anything that funny again! He can't be serious?

NetJets would be a rude awakening for a mainline guy/gal. The best it ever gets there is 7 on/7 off.

That blows.

Hey AWACoff, I hope your working something good up 'cause this boy's brain is definitely burning...

How about just the dude in your picture there. I think that would hurt.

Yeah but my dude bites and rips faces off.... Hmmm. Actually let me call him real quick and have him give this ******************************ee a visit.

Yes...it blows, big-time. Please stay where you are, and don't apply to NJA.

In fact, I'll tell you what really makes NetJets blow: making $140k/YR at YR7, flying no more than 15 days a month (max. 5 day trips), a home-basing system with 100% positive-space travel to/from your base, virtually unlimited basing rights (over 100 different bases to choose from, no bidding required), iron-clad scope, happy-as-hell passengers, the strongest union I've ever been a part of...all the while, working for company that is making money despite the economic downturn (little risk of furlough).

DAMN...IT SUCKS BAD!! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!

Idiot....

Despite all that though, there are people who do not want to do anything but daytrips or two-day trips.

And there are FOs at majors doing 3 daytrips a week all year for 70-100K a year, and CAs doing the same for 130-180K a year.

Not saying I think NJA is a bad place to work; I assure you I believe it would be a great employer.

Just illustrating the fact that the schedule is not for everyone.

Honestly, I sit at home on reserve in IAH and fly 5-10 days per month. Can NetJets do that? If not, I prefer to stay here thanks.

A 5th year FO at CAL will make 95K sitting reserve on the 756.

To wahoo250, that 365+ day vacation would be by choice.

I ran this thread as a test of intelligence on this board. All of you assumed I meant "hiring" pilots. I never mentioned pilots only, apperently nobody can think outside the box.

You ran the thread under "majors"; what did you think people would assume? The word assume broken down looks like this: ass-u-me. I haven't seen a lot of flight attendants, mechanics, dispatchers or airline executives posting to this board?

For some reason I can't explain, I know ALPA won't call my name....not an honest word, but that was when Prater ruled the world.

SFR, are you gay by chance?

Well, CAL did hire many gay pilots during the last few years. CAL was very big on internal recommendations and the Gay pilots at CAL were very well connected with the gay pilot association. This allowed many fellow homos to get hired. This is no joke.

M

Not gay, unless you mean happy.

Congrats, I was returning the favor and testing you too........... I guess you passed as it was not meant as a homosexual reference, but you get a c minus on spelling the word "apparently".
