And I agree with you sir. I don't recall suggesting you claimed anything other than what your post stated. You wrote that quite a few xjt pilots want skw to take over and I replied that the vast majority do not. There have been many posts suggesting xjt pilots would be stupid to vote no but most don't even know the deal we've been offered.

What's so funny about threads like this one is that, if one goes by what is said here on flightinfo about SkyWest pilots, you'd think that we were the miscreants of the airline world. However, in real life, my interactions with crew members of other airlines (including ALPA-represented majors, mind you) have generally been very cordial. (The majority SLC Delta crew members excepted, but I get the impression that it's just the general air of superiority that they try to put on and I don't take it personally. And then again, a lot of SKW SLC crew members seem to need to be disabused of the same notion.)

Seriously! I'm SLC based too. Everyone I see in a pilot or FA uniform I try to make eye contact with and say "hi." (And that turns out to be mostly SKW people.) I'd say about 25-30% of the time I get a response. It drives me crazy!! Have you ever been to DEN? The crews there are so friendly. There's a lot we could learn from them!

I'd say about 25-30% of the time I get a response. It drives me crazy!! Have you ever been to DEN? The crews there are so friendly. There's a lot we could learn from them!

SLC is the only base that is like this.

They are ALL a lot nicer...especially the smaller ones.
