Then why did you write this, and follow it with a smiley face??

I'm so glad that you can find solace in other's misfortunes, especially the junior ones.
Hey, maybe you can run down to the unemployment line and laugh at them if furloughs do result!

Scott, you're a freaking hypocrite. You just posted a responce praying to GOD that Comair would be liquidated. Thats solace in the others misfortunes.
You better hope they stick around when you get flushed back to you 100 seater at Comair.

You have no room to talk about taking pleasure on other's misfortune. None of us should want someone out of a job.

If there really is a God, then comair will be liquidated!

You guys need to talk to USAPA. They have explained to the West pilots how they will insure, when elected, things are done the FAIR and CORRECT way...although outside of promising the East DOH, they aren't sure what that is yet. I'm sure their services would be of GREAT value to you.

Hi!

Just saw Gordon Bethune...interesting point of view.

He said that this merger would be better for DAL/NWA, better for US airlines in general, and better for the employees.

He said that low ticket prices have been subsidized by the elimination of pensions, and the lowering of salaries of the airline employees. He said this can't continue, and he thought the merger would be good for both the NWA/DAL labor groups, as well as airline labor in general in the US.

Merger of DAL and NWA on the anniversary of RMS Titanic sinking.

Hit the berg on the April14th and sank on the 15th.

Merger announced on the 14th press conference on the 15th

Could've picked a better day.
In 1595, Willem I's daughter of Elisabeth of Nassau married Duke Henri de la Tour d'Auvergne of Broth. Isn't that just too big a coincidence?

On April 14, 1974, I asked Phyllis Veenstra to the Senior Prom. She said "yes" and I ended up shagging her rotten!

Happy Merger Day!

I'm no longer calling April 15 Tax Day, I'm calling it BOHICA Day. Good luck all.
