Hire right up to the furlough. Just like a 'Major.'
Quoting through year end hiring is a little silly, it's only March. With an impending slowdown/reduced spending recession looming.
 
Will they furlough or will they just flat out fire? Nobody can tell... no union!!

CHQ fired rather than furlough. They have a union.
 
Our God given Policy Manual sent from above has provisions for furlough pilots. Ha!

No furloughs as of yet, just lots of reserves in certain domiciles.
 
Was that at STL? Bad deal for all.

I was referring to Oct of '01. CHQ dumped the Saabs on Shuttle America and rather than furlough in seniority they fired 125 Saab pilots that were on probation.

No it was when they closed LNK as an out station. American ruined a good thing. CHQ had 9 packed STL flights a day. American decided to dump all that to have 3 ORD Eagle flights a day. That was a nightmare, so they closed LNK.
