In my opinion, not a chance this true. I think mos tof this is because of the "net conference" today. My guess is it will be to tell us our costs are still to high and oil costs are high so we need to shrink some more..... but maybe we "won" some new ground handling contracts! Comair FBO!!

I think this is closer to the truth. Comair has made a large push across the system to pick up ground handling to diversify the income streams. IIRC, Comair snagged some United and NW regional ground handling. Comair also landed a few DAL contracts (MIA and/or FLL I think).

"Welcome to Comair, your ground handling connection."

Or maybe it's to tell us that our wonderful CEO(who has hardly even shown his face) has secured a contract with Sony instead of LG to upgrade the TV's in the C concourse. Instead of 27" TVs we are now getting 42" TVs

Well, I guess there is more to the rumor than I was admitting to. The rumor also included the sale of Comair but I avoided stating this to dodge the 14 pages of lame "I heard Comair was sold to ..." jokes.

As far as the CRJ-900s, I don't know where this comes from. Possibly from the U.S. Airways flying or maybe in spreading the CRJ-700 rumor, the -900s just got added in somewhere since the same pilots at Comair fly both the 700 and 900 and are used to saying 700/900 together.

UAL mainline has scope on 900's...so there won't be any of those involved.

It would be nice to upgrade the one in CVG ops. Sick of having to use binoculars to see a sports score from the couches

And so CMR pilots are the only ones that fly the 700/900 together?

I think not.

What?

So I guess every carrier with 700/900 flies them with the same pilot group. Makes sense, just thought we might be different since we separate these pilots from the CRJ-200 pilots unlike some other carriers.

Only if Comair tried to fly them for UAL, unless they could get scope relief on them.

Now, on the other hand, AWAC could fly them, seeing as we have that scope relief in hand already.

Peace.
