So getting back to the QOL part of the thread... What kind of trip mixes are flown? How many days off does a middle of the road line holder have? What else might be unique about NWA which is good / bad??

Here's a question - once you've done the initial app online and then get the follow up response for the detailed app (as I have) - does that mean you WILL be called for an interview - or are they just looking at you a little more closely? Just curious, as it seems with Netjets, when you get a similar response (app received etc etc) that pretty much assures you that an interview will follow sooner or later.

There are all kinds of trips. Day trips for the locals and 5 day trips for the commuters. It just depends on what you want to bid. Most trips are clustered towards 1-2 days and 4-5 days. Not too many in the middle.

"Middle of the road" depends on what A/C you're on. For a NB guy with mid seniority on his A/C, probably 15-16 days off and trips commutable at least on one end, and probably both.

If you're a local, you can probably be home nearly every night sooner in DTW. Those trips go very senior in MSP.

One unique thing is that blocks and reserve are seperate bid positions at NWA. The nice thing is that when you bid a blockholder position for a particular aircraft, you KNOW you will have a line. It makes it much easier for commuters.
