Why don't you guys post these responses on the BB where your identity isn't secret? Or, just sign your name on here. At least he was man enough not to hide behind some thread here on FI.com.

Yeah, it takes a real man to pat DG on the back on the BB.

If you haven't noticed, more than a few people have been airing their complaints on the company message board lately. And don't mistake our latest raise as Flex's benevolence. If NJ's doesn't raise the standard, our leadership doesn't answer. It's just part of being best in class service.

i think the guy did a good deed. 15-23000 increase is pretty good....the company is showing signs of better things to come....i know its not May yet but its a good start....no matter who you work for someone will always complain....its not a perfect world....and it didnt take money out of our pocket to pay a union to get the new rates...if we had a union it would probally take a few years to get what we are instead of a few months....

I knew this was coming. Before you toss me into the "Kool-Aid" club, let me just say that I think the point of his post was his appreciation for what we did receive. What a concept! Comments like his may carry more weight than the typical management bashing that seems to be working so well <sarcasm>. I want all the things from FlexJet that you do too, and I think we deserve more than we received. Just calm down. Calling this guy a "Fool" behind his back and naming a thread in his "honor," is rather cowardly.

You can't honestly believe that it was going to be 30% across the board, can you? You're probably one of the first to say we need to attract "quality pilots," I think a 30% raise helps in that department. I don't think he was bragging either. If he wanted to brag, he would've posted his comments on here, to non FlexJet employees, not the BB where a lot of pilots received the raise. We can argue this all day long, and it's totally pointless to do so, since neither of us will change the other's mind. I just thought it was pretty low to call someone a fool, and to do so by hiding their identity in here, when those of us that have access to the BB and know his name. Kind of shameless and classless that personal attacks take place like this. Just agree to disagree. Want to be treated like a professional, then act like one.

What you're saying is you're happy with other pilot groups putting in the effort for your gain.

I'll be the first to say that, yes, they did come through on the monetary side of the issues; however, they didn't even touch anything else. The entire thing was about MONEY. The one thing that DG has still failed to understand is that it wasn't about money. I think we can all agree that the ROLLING REST problem at Flexjet IS the biggest problem here. Hopefully they can do something about that this year and, hopefully it's not just a band-aid like the lame 1st day rule they implemented. In fact, it's not even a "rule", its an extra $200 for getting up at 2am in the morning. Again, throwing money at the problem instead of finding a true solution. My card is still in.

I would personally like to thank this guy for his excellent negotiating skills, way to stick together with your fellow pilots bro! And don't forget the more you make, the more you get taxed! Money ain't everything! Quality of life is priceless!
