Hey, you obviously can't debate the issues, so instead you try to slam. Classic 4th grade schoolyard mentality. And, you seem really jealous. If you want to TRY to apply to Delta, the application window is open, though it seems obvious from my vantage point that you probably won't get past the initial interview, and absolutely won't get past the psych eval. Good luck to you, and try to think hard on how to respond. (try debating the issues IF YOU CAN)

Bye Bye--General Lee

I can debate with the best of them. However I can't debate with someone who thinks that their airline and management can do no wrong. You put every other airline down and praise your Delta for how great they do. I have zero interest in Delta, thanks for the offer though.

Keep posting, your sooo close to that magical 10,000 and your free set of steak knives.

Kick-A$$!!!

Don't bother arguing with GL. He is completely oblivious to reality. Delta can do no wrong, bankruptcy was great, blah blah blah.

Plus, he is forever arguing with his other screen names on various threads (737Pylt, JMoney, etc).

The previous poster's speculation on how GL spends his European layovers probably can't be too far from the truth.

I never said BK was great.....It sucked for employees no doubt, but it accomplished what it needed to do for the structure of the airline. And, I never said Delta could do no wrong. I think we had a horrible strategy during the Leo Mullin administration, although Song was fun to fly. Our new guys have us on a better path IMO.

As far as my European and South American layovers go, I have a lot of fun. I usually try to get only 2 hours of sleep after arrival to the hotel, then force myself to get up, go work out, have some time to see the sites if I want, and always eat a good dinner with as much of the crew as I can. I then try to stay up until midnight or so, and get a restful sleep so I am alert coming home. It works for me.(that is the Europe routine--S America is a bit different)

See ya fellas!

Please tell me now where our current management is going wrong. Give some examples. Put some facts along with it, and tell me why you believe what you state. I am ready. Now, if I debate with you my opinion, you can't get upset, ok? Also, I have praised SWA for their management and great stews, and I also think CAL is a great airline, but with crappy bases (do you like EWR, CLE, or IAH?). So, I am ready to debate you on the issues. Go ahead.

Why is our management at Delta doing a bad job now?

Bye Bye--General Lee

Thanks DUDE...? I have been on this board for 9 years, ....
Bye Bye--General Lee

Being the join date in GLs profile says Aug 2002, those must be GL years (That would be somewhere between dog years and human years).

Sorry for interupting. Back to Fantasy Land.

He probably started with one of his many screen names 9 years ago...he can't keep them all straight.

Debate.....

I think General Lee has made a gross misrepresentation here. If he were ready to "debate on the issues," God would have equipped him with a brain.

As all who read his endless drivel are painfully aware, the General is clearly lacking the appropriate cerebral equipment to engage in any debate of any sort...

-We'll just go on and call this one a "forfeit," there General... Let's just save the spectators any precious time they may have otherwise foolishly wasted on the assumtion that you could have put up any sort of contest.....

I have been told Delta gave in on scope and started this rj revolution is that true General?

Heyas,

You are right on the mark. Comair was the first "small jet" operator of 4 RJs back in 1993.

Every other carrier had "no jets at commuters" clause, along with a seat limit.

The DAL boys couldn't see it wasn't just about seats, but about range and speed that separated the commuters from the mainline.

They were the ones that opened Pandora's Box. I blame them totally.
