PDT Flow Thru?

supposedly they agreed that wholly owned's have the right to flowthrough. they won't let us get more than first year pay. and they're saying they want a flow-back. so another meeting in january after the holidays and by the time it all gets hammered out, they should be fourloughing!!

This is such crap, I wish our MEC would just agree with that and let the people that want to flow do it. The longer we wait the worse it will get, just get it done and lets move on.

It is not our MEC that we are waiting on (to agree on terms), but rather management to provide us with their response to our proposal.

Plus at 1 time while the ALG/PDT/PSA pilots would flow to the bottom of the mainline list, the mainline insisted to "flowback" senioir to every pilot on the CEL!

Imagine it, possibly a 2008 new hire off the street at mainline, if furloughed in 2009 would be senior to every pilot on the CEL.

Or how about a PDT pilot that flowed to mainline then furloughed, would he/she then flow back senior to every pilot on the CEL? And if not, why should the new hire off the street flow back senior yet the former CEL pilot flows back to their previous seniority?

I don't have the answers, but I do have a number of questions.

The very reason the MDA guys scream we "denied" them flowback is the seniority issue- why jump from the right seat of a Dash to the right seat of a 170, back down to the left seat of a Dash and senior to BC with 34 years of service- with a grand total of 4 years' work?

It is very possible to protect the longevity and seniority of this issue, but extremely complicated.

I hope it can be done.

That is not true, Nobody that came from a WO expected anything other than to go back to their original seniority at PDT.

We were all told (with vigor) to go pound sand.

Considering the way the AAA MEC threat us, take it as a compliment, or if you want to I'll be more than happy to tell y'a how I really feel. Don't you think it's strange that the W.O pilot are taking side with the AW pilot? That should tell you something.

No but they did go from Piedmont to Mid Atlantic to a Captain at PSA. How that works i will never know!

I agree the ML MEC has done some nasty stuff.
Before you get too chummy with your pals on the west try and realize they are only using the WO as a way to stick to the ML MEC. While that may sound great on the surface, remember it was less than a year ago that this same pilot group tried to have the ex CEL pilots completely removed from the ML List. This in turn would have eliminated any proof that a Flow may exist.
If this is how they treat pilots from a WO that actually are on the ML list, how do you think they really feel about a WO pilot that is not?
The West pilots want Nic and all the riches it provides, they will do and say anything to secure it. That does not make the East any better, it is just some reality.

It worked that way because they are ML pilots on the ML seniority list.
Believe me many on the ML MEC would have loved nothing better than to have these pilots go back to PDT. PDT would have none of that, so after Jerry Glass testified that "all pilots are and have always been ML pilots". There was nothing left to do but treat these ex CEL pilots as the ML pilots they actually were.

PDT Managment would have nothing to do with it, to put it correctly as nothing was signed ( as a flow back ) But how can they be mainline pilot jack stephan has spend enought time to block any flow thru and has said many time that there is no flow thru so where did thoses guy come from when did they interview?
