There is enough water in West Texas to sail a boat? What you need to do is fly to Venice, Italy (on us no less) or Nice, France and see some really big boats--the ones airline CEOs have. Have fun in ELP.

Dude, you are by far the biggest joke on this board. Most on here (besides buffoons like instructorclown) realize no one is impressed by how many 767's you have domiciled in ATL. Flying an airliner is not impressive ok????? I know that is extremely hard for you to digest so please do your best. The things that flying an airliner DO provide (on varying scales) are QOL, compensation, and customer/employee service. SWA is absolutely head and shoulders above DAL in all 3 of those categories - and many more for that matter. Flying an ILS into ELP or flying an ILS into Venice is still flying an ILS - it's absolute brain dead work. However, what is nice is the fact SWA compensates you 50 dollars more an hour for doing it and treats the customer and its employees 10 fold better as well.
Catch a clue dude. No one cares nor is impressed with you or DAL.

I bet after the paycuts Delta took the General spends his Venice overnights in his hotel room looking for free porn, posting on FI, and eating Top Raman and instant oatmeal. When he gets back to the money he was making during the Clinton administration, he might stop eating meals that are made with the hotel room coffee maker or iron.
Who needs free porn when there's always the tanker clown trailer home to, "git r done!"

The money I get pimping out your old lady I spent yesterday on a pay toilet, but we're making progress!:laugh:I call it a "manufactured home." I haven't had the wheels on it in a long time. Maybe if I get hired at Delta I can afford to get the underpinning on it to keep out the varmits.
737 Pylt, how's your interest only arm on your ATL duplex?
Are you going to be able to keep up with the payments when you don't get your scheduled raises or take take another round of pay cuts?
but your actual fixed costs are going up, and without those hedges, it would be tougher for you to post that profit.
Roger that!I find my happiness here in the good ole USA speaking to english speaking controlers. Italy and France are over rated but enjoy.
Thanks to both of you for replying. You guys will never learn. And, Lihue and Kona are NOT in West Texas. Am I wrong here?

General, I have been to more cities and countries than you will ever see. I know you are impressed with yourself, but it doesn't mean a thing to me. I find my happiness here in the good ole USA speaking to english speaking controlers. Italy and France are over rated but enjoy.
We don't have enough planes to do that, yet. If we bought Hawaiian Air, then maybe.
Bye Bye--General Lee
No General, you are not wrong there. My concern is that your airline does such a lousy job of serving it's current route structure. Maybe you should fix the current mess before you extend bad service to a new destination.
That's great. How many commies did you shoot down at Top Gun too? (who cares?) So far I have been impressed with the German Controllers. FRA is very well run. I also really like Ireland, but the trips aren't worth as much, so I have only done a couple. Copenhagen airport is a mess, but the city is nice. I have done a few flights to South America, Rio and Buenos Aires so far, and I enjoyed the layovers very much (36 hours each). The flights to and from were allnighters, but I sleep well during crew rest so that hasn't been too bad. I hope your 6 legs today from HOU to SJC are a lot fun.

Excuse me? Where do you come up with that? We have the largest hub in the WORLD, in ATL. It is the best run and most profitable single airport hub in the world. The connections are endless. Our JFK hub is well connected, but the airport itself is a mess, mainly because of the busy NYC airspace above and 3 major airports in one area. Our CVG hub is a great reliever hub for ATL, and rarely has problems, and also just opened an extra runway to help what little congestion there is. SLC is a great jump off point for anything in the NW, especially to Montana and even onto ANC. LAX is a good hub that now has plenty of feed from Expressjet ERJ-XRs (that can actually take all 50 pax, with no weight restrictions). They have added many new Mexican cities and added flights to DEN, LAS, PHX, TUS, PDX, EUG, SEA, YVR, RNO, SMF, OAK, SJC, SAN, BOI, and GEG. Why couldn't we add those cities ourselves? We don't have the planes, YET. (hint--MD90s)
You see DOH, we have really realigned our planes to meet demand since BK. Our guys running the show now are really good at what they do. Was Song a failure? No, not at that time because we had to do something against Jetblue and Delta Express 737-200s weren't doing it. But now our new guys have pulled those Song 757s off of inefficient routes and moved everything around to fit better, and create profits. Our guys also see many opportunities in the INTL sector, which with the lower dollar now is giving us good results, with mostly foreign passengers filling our planes. They may think it is cheap, but we know how much we need to make a profit, and we are doing well at the moment. Southwest has been raising fares in the States to keep it's momentum going, and that also is helping us on our domestic front. Our domestic system is doing fine, and our INTL side is growing and helping the bottom line even more. Have a great one.

Do yourself a favor and rent a car in FRA. Get the he!! out of the city. You will not be disappointed. And the city of Copenhagen rocks! I don't care if it is a little spendy, it is worth every penny! How long are your layovers? I had 2-4 day layovers when I used to fly those routes. You can really do some damage if you have the time!
You miss my point. I realise that you are profitable. My point is that your customer service sucks. I fly as a revenue passenger now. I fly pretty much every airline, and Delta is by far the worst customer service out there. I tried to tell you this before, and I got a personal attack. Let's see how it goes with the second try.

Actually, you are wrong. I have flown to Vencie once now from ATL and I really enjoyed it. We stay at a really nice hotel that treats us well. The food was very good in town, and I look forward to doing it again, but I have a few more cities I want to fly to first. It is great to have choices and actually look forward to going places on someone else's dime, and not in a green jumpsuit. Go get um Iceman, in that, um, heavy tanker.

Hey General, I heard that you and 737 Pylt offer to share rooms to help DAL cut costs? You guys figured it was the least you could do until you could give up more concessions. Just kidding.
You are right about me having to wear a green jumpsuit...it's as fasionable as the double breasted jacket.
I'm sure Delta is a much better fit for you than the military. Perhaps Delta recognized you "union" with 737 Pylt. Even with don't ask don't tell, I'm not sure they'd turn a blind eye to you "lifestyle."
Bye Bye -- Tanker Clown
You should be, CAL doesn't go to either. But, you do go to Guam and Yap, which I hope we eventually fly to also. You never know.....Have a great day in EWR.

yah delta, hip hip horay. Where you a cheerleader in high school, or just a cross dresser?
No, United and US Air have the worst customer service!
