You should be, CAL doesn't go to either. But, you do go to Guam and Yap, which I hope we eventually fly to also. You never know.....Have a great day in EWR.

wow

I feel better already.

GenLee you guys ready to give up those 100 seaters !!! I know you will.... weak sister.

GL You forgot to tell us how much you got in your claim distribution and your note distribution. You brag like some little *********************************** running around the school yard showing off something that his mommy just bought for him.
Folks, please remember, GL has done nothing to help Delta with it's current success. He did vote to drop to his knees and blow all of the DL execs and vote to allow the termination of the pension and health benefits of all of those who worked so hard to make DL a decent place to hang one's hat. When this *********************************** posts about DL's recent success, he should be shamed into shutting his computer off and never turning it on again.
Please everyone, ask this little *********************************** to shut his f'ing mouth once and for all!!!!

OOOOOOKay then......? Say what? I think this one needs to go to the moderators. Yeah, a little bit on the weird side. Ummmm yeah. Your dad needs to know about this. Getting sexual on here shouldn't be allowed. You know that, right? Luuuuu-zer.

Hillarious. First of all, we are still getting a raise, and more than the mandatory. If we set an ACTUAL number to be above for a larger raise, then we should actually HIT THAT to get it, right? I am sure our ALPA people have their own financial advisors looking it over, so if we didn't hit it (maybe due to higher oil?), then that is the way it goes. It is all about being realistic. If oil was $45 a barrel and this happened, I would be a little bit more skeptical. You guys at UPS can raise prices thanks to less competition---so why aren't you paid $500 an hour? What is your excuse? Oh yeah, Sen Ted Stevens may ask for cargo Cabotage from Congress and your company might outsource your jobs to Air China. You never know Brown stain.

General if people here were banned for being a little on the weird side you would be banned for life.

Why did you hide when someone actually rationalized the hedge issue on another thread?

Just thought I might make it easier for you to find.

Most were given most of what they were owed. The PBGC was made "whole" by the claim sale, and the retired pilots also got an $800 million claim themselves. Some lost some healthcare benefits, but hey, we did go BK. I think most got more than they thought they were as we were going into BK. But, you knew all of that already.....? Lu---zer.

Thanks for that, I never saw that post because I was actually out of the country (not in ISP). I will address that. Anyone can say "woulda coulda etc"--but the fact remains in the numbers. Maybe had we not sold our hedges to SWA prior to BK--we would not have gone BK, and I would not have made an extra $280,000 in the claim sale. The numbers state that you made $162 million for the quarter, with a hedge windfall of $189 million. So, had you not made that money, you COULD have had a loss. Would your guys have speared that off and raised fares to make sure you didn't get a loss? Probably. You have had 66 or something consecutive quarterly profits, so I would think they would have tried to continue that. Remember, PROFIT is an OPINION. There are ways to move that around. But, without that hedge windfall, it would have been tougher to show that amount without raising fares, and helping everyone else. It is becoming tougher for Southwest to set the fares, primarily because your own costs are going up, and the hedges aren't covering for everything anymore. Your hedges still are great, but the US domestic market is becoming flat, and more LCCs are flooding the market. INTL expansion helps because the dollar is weaker, which makes INTL pax the ones filling planes. If it costs $1000 to fly to LAS from Frankfurt, that really is only $500 to them (2 to 1 for the Euro almost). It becomes cheap, but we know exactly how much it costs to make those flights profitable, and we price it accordingly and we are full on our INTL flights, and adding more. You are cutting back on your ISP flights in the meantime.

As far as being "weird", well, that guy got sexual--which shouldn't be allowed. He has nothing to actually say, so he tried to be funny with his sexual rant. It happens to me all of the time, people on here can't debate me, so they get testy and try to push the limits.

Sorry I couldn't get that last comment. My boat was sailing under a bridge and I lost satetlite. I am stll logging my night/instrument, in hopes of joining a major some day. Hopefully one that has given everything away and can only go up from there.
