They forget what they did to pilots before. They refused to allow the company to buy EAL 757 and take the pilots. The screwed the shuttle pilots, when they bought it.

Actually you” Whiskey Driver” are THE motivating factor for the donation (soon to be donations) to the USAPA and the sending of my card in.

I originally (when recalled) was of the mindset that I would like to see a joint contract. I am young enough that the award does not harm me THAT much.

However, you and flightinfo.com changed all that for me.

You in particular (being on the West MEC) made it clear from your posting all the unprofessional, tasteless, selfish, and rude comments about the entire east pilot group that we need to do everything possible to protect our interests. I thought the enemy was management, now I know different.

Glad to see you have such strong convictions and really think things through! I know when I want to make decisions that will affect me and my family I base them on what I gleam from flightinfo and its posters.

Weasel, allow me to educate you right quick! First you know nothing about tasteless and selfish young man!! Last year when YOUR mec came to PHX begging for support for the space positive issues we the west pilots came thru in FULL support even though we had never had it nor needed it for that matter. We wrote a resolution in support of your effort even though it was simply STUPID to not attend sessions that benefit the pilots more than it did the company. Once the company relented and sent it back it sat on Brookman's girlfriend's desk collecting dust for months. We then find out that your MEC will accept it as long as we the west MEC are removed from the benefit!!!

Now what was that you said about selfish??? How about the E190's and the 757's that were done PROIR to the seniority award??? I forget, did you say something about selfish?? Look in the mirror pal, there you will find the definition of selfish!!!!

You love to open most of your posts by calling me stupid. You know I wouldn’t mind talking about this over a beer in PHX or PHL sometime, and something tells me you would be a little more polite in person.

Apparently your reading comprehension is lacking. You will notice I said the ENTIRE EAST PILOT GROUP. I did NOT mention the East MEC.

You know (or should know) there are some moderates over here that would like to move on and get a joint contract.

Normally, these posts on flightinfo.com mean nothing to anyone. However, when someone from the West MEC gets on here and trys to alienate the ENTIRE GROUP well it makes me wonder.

You should direct your attacks at management and the East MEC (if necessary). Insulting the average line pilots (while hiding behind a handle) really only serves to draw deeper lines in the sand.

Didn't we just do one of those things and it was called "the rice committee?" Is there really ANYTHING left to talk about when it comes to the Nic award? It's high time for the East to honor the committment it made when it entered binding arbitration.

The great irony here is that the East pilots have been extremely vocal about the lack of integrity and failure to follow agreements from management's side over the last 20 years or so. Now the east is faced with a result they don't like and they use every underhanded method they can find to stall and mitigate the award.

I know that and I am in contact with many of them. People like you make it difficult with your antics of USAPA to save the world when in reality you are only further harming east pilots.

We do direct our anger towards the company but where are you, you know the avg line pilot?? Where have you been while your MEC was screwing this thing up? Why have you not held them accountable?? Why have you not recalled them and sent a clear message to all pilots that we, the avg line pilot wiill not tolerate this B.S.??

Just a question. Wasn't the 757 LOA supposed to be a sharing of some sort of the "Growth" 757s???? I.E. Aircraft aquired After the merger announcement.

Didn't those same newly acquired 3 757's simply end up being replacement for 3 757's that were sent back to the lessor????

We have parked more aircraft than expected on the west as well. What about the 190's? Would Airways have bought those and put them on mainline absent the merger?

You guys are using underhanded methods to deny jobs to the west. It's pretty cut and dry. A basic lack of integrity runs rampant at your MEC level and is being left uncheked by the average east line pilot. Maybe you feel like your past wrongs gives you the right to take 190/757 jobs from the west? Not very admirable....
