I would say neither. Working for 1300 bucks a month is not worth your time. Take a job in Boston! You will lose a day on each side of your trip commuting and when the delays start forget about it! Take Eagle you will be alot happier and get to keep 200-300 bucks a month in crashpad expense.

Your edited post isn't any better. You sound like you might be mildly retarded.

Please don't come to ExpressJet. LOL

Yeah, I know it still sounds retarded (I wrote it at 3 in the morning after a fight with the girlfriend, so I was tired and pissed, and english isn't my first language), however, the fact remains, that your still a douchbag and you got turned down by CAL, don't be too bitter.

So if I was go get on with Eagle, right now is BOS a junior or senior base? How long is reserve looking like? What is upgrade looking like right now?

I left AWAC this year. Management had declared all out war back then and now that the real chief pilot has passed away..... He was the only thing AWAC had going for it in management. Here's to the best C.P. I have ever had.

The current chief pilot is a total scumbag. I hope he dies in a fire. Slowly. It feels ludicrous to say this but it feels right nowadays...stay away from Air Wisconsin. If you don't mind getting fired for speaking your mind on a private forum (even though you had an exemplary employment record with kudos from numerous captains), AWAC just might be the place for you. If you don't mind the company threatening to fire you if you don't fly sick, AWAC just might be for you. Anybody else have any others?

Bos is pretty junior. The BOS guys seem to hold a line a lot faster than LGA. Some of the new hires in my class held composite lines after about 3 months of reserve.
The upgrade time is still about 7 years. It hasn't come down really because they have been staffing the jet more than the prop, hence no capt upgrades for the prop the last few months. I think there is about 200 flowbacks still on property, plus supposedly ALPA and APA came to an agreement on eagle guys being able to flow through to AA, but they are waiting for management to look the proposal over, should hear something about it in the next few weeks.

I didn't hear that S.O. had passed away. That sucks. I didn't really deal with him at all, but a guy in our new-hire class had a family emergency during training and the way S.O. handled it was total class. My classmates and I gained immediate respect for the guy right then and there. Always heard very good things about him.

I would avoid Air Wisconsin. For all the reasons mentioned in the above postings this management team is not good and the company has zero direction ahead and no business plan..

PHL!!! That should be enough to want to stay away. Used to be a good company about three years ago when we had the United and Airtran flying but the move to the east coast has destroyed what this company used to be. Delays and mechanicals are the norm.. When we had DEN we were an ontime machine where people avoided United and F9 cause Air Wisconsin was just as good. Now we are on the bottom.

Bases:

ORF is by far the happiest base with most people living in base and making the best of it. If you were willing to move for AWAC ORF will give you the best QOL and the best morale. It is younger and more positive.

PHL- Has the most commuters and also the largest base. The best topic for PHL is where the cheapest Hotel is for commuters. Most people are based here because of commuting. I think we have about 5% of our pilots living in PHL.

DCA- Nice base and good operations.. If it were just DCA and CLT flying this would be a nice escape from the rest of the company. The lines are horrible here though with late finishes and no flights past 8ish at night. About 50% of the FO's live there and maybe 15% of the CA's.

The current upgrade time is around 3 yrs for RSV CA in ORF, PHL or DCA.

Positives:

Training program
Union
Pilot group
Some of the contract is good
laid back
HDQ's is far far away

Negatives

Management #1 reason
PHL
Nothing but east coast
No business plan
Schedules BLOW

I would go to Xjet for a few reasons..

1. Better operation
2. Better flying
3. Better management
4. Good contract
5. Better Bases

You'd probably fit it well at CHQ after reading your post. I skimmed through it, then wrote you a reply, at the end I put "ignore all the dicks harping on you" but seriously dude, your edited version is.. Very poor grammar. Coming from me, that means a lot. I'm normally a really nice guy, but damn dude.

Do you REALLY think Cleveland, Houston and NEWARK (along with LAX, ONT, SAT, maybe more now?) are better than Washington, Nafack and Filthy?

he was being sarcastic

Take Filthydelphia. Where else can you be based at, and have to call the crashpad, so when you get off the bus, your fellow co-workers are escorting you back to the crashpad armed with baseball bats? How many crewmembers were mugged going to thier crashpads in South Filthy? There is no movement or growth here and upgrade is about 3 years. But with the slew of new upgrades, that will slow down future movement as well.
