I don't think i'm ready to go back yet. :)

Although the chicken panini was pretty good.

You can call me Winston though. :) Say hi to jerry for me.

Guys we can all sit on this board and bitch and moan about what we like and don't like but if your not saying these same things to B.O ON THE Union board and letting him know that if if the company and the Union want this to passed, then they are gonna have to raise the pay rates up big time for the SIC.

To many SIC I see here are afraid to speak up. I've said this before that it's gonna be 5 yrs for a new hire to hold captain. We have to get those rates up it's no big secret that at Delta, SWA, CO and even NWA a second year SIC make more then a third year SIC here. So why should/would any of our SIC want to stay? We all know this is a great company to work for but it has room for major improvements. If you look at the Cat 4 pay scale the captain starts out at 120K and the FO starts out at 50K? this is BS it should be at least 50% of captain pay!

Your right about the company making huge profits but that's gonna continue and the company knows that but what they also know is that in 2010 the pilot shortage is gonna be worse making it harder for them to attract the type of pilots they have been getting for the last 4 years as the airlines are starting to get back on there feet's and they know that once they get profitable new contracts will come and there pay will come up making the airline possibly the place to work again.

Also and I'm not trying to be political but there's a good chance we could have a Bitch in the White House along with a democratic congress. Now As most of us Pilots are Hard core Republicans we all know that Bush hasn't been too friendly towards labor and that's what we are. For the last eight years its been an upper managements Wet dream. I personally think we can get more from them as the alternative is to negotiate in 2010 with the said above behind us. Again I am not backing that Lesbian in hiding Clinton So don't start calling me a Clinton Supporter. Last thing I need is to have that Fruit tart Mark Essex putting his hand behind my arm rest when where flying telling me again how he played a little semi pro football.

The leadership of 1108 is extremely smart.

This will be a great improvement for most people and it WILL pass.

What took me by surprise is it was marketed as WIN/WIN. But a minority of us will be giving up some things. I envision making a little less money than I do now because my schedule goes away... but overall people will do better than now and report to work closer to where they live.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the Few or the one."
Now as far as friendly administrations. For the historicaly challenged... It was Clinton who stopped American from striking and Carter who deregulated the airlines.

Umm. 65% is the industry AVERAGE. NetJets has never claimed to be average...

Right now, they are FAR BELOW average in this regard.

Gun, I'm not sure what the Union is looking for concerning a "PASS" margin but I can say that the LOU that is currently being discussed with respect to the word "Indefinite" as it relates to the HBA's will be a deal breaker for me if I don't like the language.

Annual bid flushing and a June 1 date is another one.

There are many improvements in this package but there are also things in ti that I may have difficulty voting for.

I'll wait and see what the final package brings. It should be a very "lively" dicussion on the Union board.

I get the feeling that the Union and Company might have thought this was going to be an easier process.

Just my opinion.

I hate to break it to you, but if the only raises go to SICs, it ain't gonna pass. I want SIC pay to come up, but the PICs are giving up a LOT to get you guys those expanded bases, so there's got to be some sweetener (okay, a LOT) in the deal for us for it to pass.

Why don't you take your own advice and post this rant over on the union board, and see how well it goes over?

Sounds pretty political to me.

Money Talks...

80% will fly the same schedule and use the same base or closer base as they do today.

They will take the money or will have to wait till 2010 just to start negotiating again.

Reservists could potentially earn less ... but work fewer days. But we are a minority.

I'm on reserve and I like the new options...especially the 15 day.

Just try and get it. That will be so senior it will be hopeless. I see an unwelcome paycut for me losing the current RSV schedule. The 18 day? Not with 8 days tours...6 on 3 off, 8 on 5 off. NO THANK YOU
