When a full 1/3 of the last 30 discussions are about ASA, dont ya think its time to start a new sub-forum dedicated to that airline for those of us who dont give a deuce?

Best thing to do is not click any threads that contain ASA in them. That way you won't see them

ASA pilots are in a struggle right now. We have no choice in this struggle. Either lie down or fight. We finally are fighting after almost 5 years. This struggle will hopefully benefit ASA pilots. If not at least we go down fighting.

It is also good for YOU that we struggle. When we settle on a fair contract I hope that YOUR next contract LEAPS over ASA's.

I will support you when that time comes. I will ignore any threads I don't want to readand I'll understand your need to comunicate with your co-workers

What an arrogant little piece of FOD...

Do you really think that what happens at ASA doesn't affect you? Wake up.

I know for a fact it dosent affect me. (Other than making sure all my loved ones dont fly on ASA because of your little "havoc" tantrum that is nothing short of complete irresponsibility...an immaturity I might add) Keep telling yourselves: "Its for the safety of the passengers" One question: Did you not write up problems before your reign of havoc? So whats different now other than some of you guys telling how to "sabotage" (How to "pop" the grounding straps on the mains) WE GET IT...You are so picked on. Get over it! Quit. Write your congressmen. SHUT UP!
My point is is that most of the people on this BB are sick of hearing about how "bad" you have it. Just start an ASA thread and all you guys post there since you are all saying the same thing on every thread.
Commence firing!

Uh, am I missing something here? That's what's been happening all along. You're the one clicking on each thread then complaining that there are too many.

Uh, yeah, you are missing something. Clicking on the thread does not recycle it to the top...posting on it does.
I volunteer this thread to be the new "All ASA" thread. All you guys and gals can just post on this thread about ASA and that will make it easier on everyone! Good idea?

Sounds like you have ASA pilot envy?

Sawmill, just wondering what airline you are with?

Hey Saw...let us know where you work! That way, when it comes time for you, we can give you full support. If you don't recognize the importance of this fight for not only ASA, but the ENTIRE REGIONAL INDUSTRY...then you are too stupid to continue conversing with! Good LucK!

Look at the ac he's flown and the equation is simple.
EMB 145+CL65=GoJet Whore. Plus you can tell from the way he types that he's got a bit of Hulas Hog up his @ss.

Not with an airline. What does that have to do with anything? Is it because I wouldnt understand? Trust me guys, being an airline pilot is not rocket science. We all know a few that shouldnt be in the right or the left seat but are. And besides, who cares if I understand or not or care or not? My original point was every other thread dosent have to be something about ASA. If you guys are so united in your quest to F-up your company, jobs and customers, why dont you post it all in one place so others who dont want to hear your whining can use this site more productivly.

Wow Tomct. You sound like ALPO meterial. "If hes not in complete lockstep with us, maybe we can intimidate him into submission" Ever look at that monthly rag from ALPA? Did you ever notice how all the pictures of the officers look like mugshots of guys named Guido?
And please...dont flatter yourself into thinking you are fighting for the "entire regional industry". The entire regional group is nothing more than an unlimited supply of money for the perks of ALPA Bosses.
By the way, if ALPA is such a great union and unions are so necessary for the protection of pilots, why are you all in such dire straights? All Ive ever witnessed is a continious downward slide of the QOL of all pilots.

Now thats funny...I dont care who ya are! But wrong answer. How many airlines out there fly both platforms? Or is it possible two different airlines that just so happen to fly different aircraft. Hmmm....the possibilities are limitless. But you can rule out GoJets. (And no, I didnt go to Riddle, Gulfstream Training Academy, or Mesas Pilot Training Program. I paid my dues...and that dosent mean I am 100K in debt. Never got myelf in debt. I worked to be where I am today...can you say that?)

Then take your little king air type rating and LEAVE THE AIRLINE PILOT BOARD.
So you have to be a card carrying ALPO member to use this site? I dont remember reading that anywhere. Isnt that typical of thugs though. "If Im not smart enough to discuss the issue, then I will try to force him out of here"
Its a no wonder your little havoc scheme is so non-productive...other than inconvienencing passengers. WAY TO GO! You sure are showing them whos boss!
Let me guess...next you are going to call me names?
Yaaaawwwwnnnnn.

I was asked jump seating on a Skywest flight. I was asked what has the union done for me. My reply was not what it has done for me, but with a question, I asked what has it done for you? He asked what do you mean. I asked him, do you think you would have the pay you have right now? Do you think you would have the work rules right now? He thought for a second and said you are right. I gave a little history on the union being started in 1931 as it has always been mgmt trying to get over on the pilots and flight attendants. After the flight was over, pulling into the gate, he said that the way I put it to him was correct and that he would never talk about a union again and that he would vote for it when it was time for them to vote in the union.
Thought I would share that with you guys.

You sound like someone who didn't cut it in the world of 121. If you really did spend anytime (beyond probationary period) you would understand the ASA struggle.

I can only guess you are resentful because of some failing. I've run into the attitude many times before, it's the "I didn't want to be there anyway" and "there not so smart" attititude.

No, flying an RJ is not rocket science. ASA pilots for fighting for a fundamental improvement after years of being crapped on......I guess you don't understand any of this.

Nice guess but wrong. I left by choice...and it wasnt one of those suggestions by the training department to resign so there is not black mark on the record. I flew the line albeit reserve. ASA struggle? Pleeeese!

No resentment at all because I didnt fail. As a matter of fact, I was the only one in my class who didnt have to have extra sims or IOE time. (I did blow my King Air type ride when I screwed up the hold entry, but I thought I did a pretty good job as a 450 hour pilot getting that type the following week) And for the record, I wanted to be there and I have never claimed to be smarter than anyone else.

How have you ASA folks been crapped on anymore than any other pilot group has claimed to be? I guess you are right...Im not understanding you. As I see it, no one is forcing you to fly for a living. The pay and benes are what they are. If its not to your standards, go drive a truck. Heres a news flash: Management will do the absolute minimum...why do any more? It will NEVER be as you want it. Get over yourselves and start enjoying life. Or dont. Continue with the victim mentality. Either way, airplanes will contimue to fly.

Just as nobody is forcing you to read all the ASA threads that you have your panties in a wad over.

Get over yourselves and start enjoying life.

Advice you might take yourself. Stop getting so upset over posts about company you aren't employed by in an industry you don't work in and "enjoy life".

Youre right and youre right. So Ill go back to the original question: Why dont you ASA guys post on one thread so you dont have to keep repeating yourself on 10 different threads? It will be a lot more convienent for eveyone.

Just think how convenient it would be for you to pick one ASA thread and stick with it. You wouldn't have to hear us repeat ourselves and just imagine how much time you would save!

Wow 1800 whole hours and you have this whole airline thing figured out.

You're special

At what point in your logbook did you have it all figured out?
You guys need to lighten up. Who cares what I say or think?!? NO ONE!
Exactly what pull do I have with ALPA, ASA, the paying customers, or the pilot group. NONE!
Why are you getting so worked up? I know I have absolutely no chance in covincing any of you think the way I think...and guess what...there are more out there who dont agree with you. Who cares?!?!
