Thanks for READING the question........Obvioulsy you didnt INTERVIEW......
How long after you put your stuff in to phone call? I've had my stuff in there for months and no luck so far.
Ouch, yeah I've had my stuff since early June. I haven't heard anything so far, guess I'll just continue to update every 2 weeks. Thanks
Ask the Eagle pilots(owned and with a flow through to a legacy .
I am looking at not having to commute. Yes, I'd like to upgrade in a timely manner, but my nymber 1 goal is to end commuting. The flow thru is something I would not be counting on at all. It might happen, but I've seen most turn to nothing.
I wouldn't look too hard into the flow thru agreement that compass has with northwest. look at what happened to midatlantic and the wholly owned's like psa, pdt, and alg. when midatlantic was sold, so was the flow thru. midatlantic was created in bankruptcy by the same CFO (neil cohen) with almost the same type and number of airplanes. It was then sold off to generate a huge dollar amount to help with usair's bankruptcy funding. ask anyone left at PSA or PDT about that one and they'll tell ya they got the shaft(especially psa). no more midatlantic, no more flow through. although compass is a good choice for some individuals now (high time f.o., or low seniority ca), i wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for a flow up. it's merely a selling point to acquire high time people to fill their captain needs.
has anyone addressed the idea there as to what would happen to the flow thru per chance that compass is sold? would it still be honored? i can just see it now, a bunch of compass guys banging on nwa's door saying let us in, and nwa saying not anymore! This would probably be my number question in the interview.
If nwa was smart they would just start assigning seniority numbers now. that way there won't be any confusion when compass and mesaba are both sold off for profit in the next few years.
Like I said, Compass would be a good idea for someone to upgrade relatively soon, or who is a junior ca, but don't sell the farm based on the flow up. just my $.02
