Are these for TSA jobs or GoJet jobs? Are they going to try to bait and switch these guys?

If they somehow manage to scrape together enough applicants to fill the TSA classes, they will have no problem offering GJ classes to anyone left.

Hopefully the Riddlers are smart enough to not go to either one.

I don't think it's necessarily a question of "smart." I just don't think they'll know any better. I didn't know anything about unions when I graduated.

I say target COEX, Republic and Skywest if you want to get some good jet experience.

All regionals suck.
Quick upgrade and ease of commute/ domicile where you live are far more important factors than SJS.

PIC 121 is the key, regardless if your props are covered by a cowl or not.

Doubt it.

They should have started falling out of the sky by now if that was the case.

I bet we crash 1 before xmas. Almost all of the low time FOs trained in AZ or FL and have not seen more than 2 hours of actual time, much less anything like snow. They can barely keep the plane on the runway on a dry runway...really scared to see how they do with a snow covered one. We've been lucky because most of the Capts have plenty of time in the left seat..but those guys are getting jobs and moving on and we are getting new capts. We also just lowered our upgrade time. So we will have a capt with 1500 TT and a FO with 220 TT. Add in the winter wx and I see an interesting (hopefully not deadly) winter.

They chose Riddle, hardly think they will be smart enough to say no to TSA

I am not going to place bets on someone crashing an RJ before santa comes due to winter WX.

But, there have already been plenty of lower'ish time captains in the left seat of an RJ for a few winters past.

I still dont see the crash rate on the regionals skyrocketing in the next few years.

Don't forget to add the LACK of Thrust Reversers on the LRs......
