What was the arbitratior's decision anyway?
So both groups followed the merger policy to the "t". But one pilot group doesn't like the results so they stomp their feet and request a new arbitration? What happens when they don't like that one? They request another?

This thread is about Prater's leadership abilities.
How has he shown any leadership in the East/West conflict. The East still is ready to bolt. If the East bolts Prater's leadership will really be shown.
Age 60 did not show Prater's leadership. Prater disregarded the majority's will and choose his own selfish interests as he had supported age 65 without regard for the majority before the Blue Ribbon panel and afterwards.
Leadership is about self sacrifice, managing the interests of the whole above self, dealing with time, making the hard calls, mentoring the future followers so as not to created a void at the top with one persons departure, creating unity, and moving a forward in some positive direction. Prater has not produced any of those results yet. He has made a few speeches, come up with a few slogans, divided the group against itself in every situation he has faced so far, and hurt the future of the organization by dividing the pilots himself with age and seniority issues.
When I see Prater on camera I expect him to say:
"Then it sounded like a freight train. The trailer next to us just up and disppeared. That's when I knew we best run fer it."
