Hi!

I was over 1/2 way through a big post with a lot of info when my computer froze, and I lost it all. I'll post it later.

In the meantime, I would appreciate U Guys posting what U know:
Foreign airlines hiring, websites for contract pilots who fill positions overseas, specific conditions in specific countries/cities/airlines that you know about.

Here's one I found out. Viva Macau is hiring. Macau was a Portuguese controlled island off of China, similar to Hong Kong. A guy there has put $300K in the bank in two years of working there.

what kind of experience are they looking for?

I'm moving to Ireland tomorrow for a flying job. I have also been offered a job with Air Deccan in India. I just used the services of Direct Personnel and Aeroprofessional in my search. I'm going in as an ATR captain for Aer Arran in Ireland. For most these jobs you need a type rating in their aircraft and 400-500 hours in type.

Is the $500 housing, for housing in Japan or the US? Is that just to cover some crashpad expenses or are they expecting you to actually find a place to live on that? -kingaira90

It is for a place to stay in Japan when you are here working. Some guys get apartments near the airport or some just stay in a hotel. If you ended up doing a crash pad type of thing, you would probably have some left over.
