Not anymore! Just looked at the wait for the XL/S. I have my bid for it. I am about 1500 (4.5 yrs in) and there are 20+ senior to me waiting for it.
I can about hold the 680 and 750 today. I believe many were waiting till the holidays ended to bid. I did, now I loose.
Plan on 3 years min for upgrade.
Yup you snooze you loose. Oh well there is always the 680. Regardless, I did not want to risk loosing Christmas, so looks like the Uboat for a little longer.Yep, I got the bid before the holidays and I'm junior to you. You should have put it in earlier.
whats the difference between the XL and the S Citation?? range?
Citation XLS is the newer model of the Citation XL. A couple hundred pounds higher gross weight, a little bit more power from the engines, more comfortable seats, and some systems tweaks. It's the same basic airplane, just incrementally improved.
Gotcha... do you guys ever take off over Gross?

You're talking about in the back right?
Gotcha... do you guys ever take off over Gross?
Did you have to move or do you still live in the ALB area?
How does year one at NJA compare to CommutAir?
I could have stayed in the northeast and driven to TEB, but I wanted out anyway, so I moved to Florida. I figure hey, the pay's the same, the cost of living's cheaper, and the weather's warmer.
So how long before they close Orlando for NJA?![]()
Any talk of home basing coming back?

That is unless you are flyiny a 1900 for a certain fleabag operation out of PLB. Then I would leave to drive a rickshaw.![]()

Seat OA- thanks a lot for the breakdown. I'm starting class for the Beech . .. uh, Hawker 400XP in May. Is 30% over base common across all fleets? I know the 400 isn't nearly as busy as the other fleets, therefore less overtime. I was hoping for overtime accounting for about an extra 10%, but 30% would be great, just wondering if you have any idea how common that is. What fleet are you in?
