How many ASA 700's rotate through CVG now?

Zero.
Additional 700s and progress on the contract! 2007 may be a good year for ASA! This is good to see.
That statement carries more weight than most can imagine, should be announcements for some significant expansion and taking on aircraft from the DAL RFP was streaching things too thin.
I dunno CFIT, you said OO was getting all 12 of the Comair Jets. Your source is slipping....
Just announced. Sorry Comair. It's a shame to see things like this happening.
But, NOT sorry SkyWest, you didn't deserve our 700s.
To Clarify, we are getting 8 (out of the 12) Comair CRJ 700s, and keeping 8 of the ones slated to go to SKYW.
You ungrateful bastar d. Didn't deserve your 700's. The money that I worked for bought your airline and stopped your airline from either going bankrupt or being bought by mesa. I don't want to fly "your" airplanes, but how bout a little grattitude. You don't "deserve" anything.

Last time I checked a holding company bought ASA, not Skywest Airlines. So do you work for the airline or the holding company? You ungrateful bastar d. Didn't deserve your 700's. Skaff,
As a former SkyWest pilot, one that undoubtedly worked at SkyWest much longer than you have and would have helped to contribute much more to buying ASA, I'm telling you that you don't have a clue about what you're talking about. Who is to say what would have happened to ASA if SKyWest hadn't bought them? Its all a big game played by management and you (SkyWest and ASA) are the pawns. Your brothers at ASA are your best bet to securing favorable pay increases and schedules and you should stand with them, not rip them apart with posts that drip utter stupidity as yours did.
I rest my rant.
You keep right on thinking that why don't cha...Last time I checked a holding company bought ASA, not Skywest Airlines. So do you work for the airline or the holding company?
It's always been hard for ASA management to argue that they are uncompetitive. This is just an admission that management's scare tactics have failed.
You spent 10 years at SkyWest and now your at southwalmartWest? Stick to your lcc walmart carrier threads. Delta, United, and all the other real Airlines wouldn't be in such a pickle if it weren't for trailer park wn undercutting everyone in the early 90's. wn started the slide. Delta and the rest do what they can to remedy the slide. Brothers at ASA? I have two blood brothers and I don't go to church with anyone from ASA.
Oh, and let me guess Nightrain....YOU would NOT take a job if offered by SWA?You are one lying b@stard!!
I dunno CFIT, you said OO was getting all 12 of the Comair Jets. Your source is slipping....
I can obviously understand why we (ASA) are happy about not losing more 70s; but, why are some people on this board giddy about getting Comair's 70s...while they are getting shafted? This industry is truely starting go downhill.
I'm glad that ASA is getting the majority. They deserve it, although it still sucks for Comair. I had an ASA guy in my jumpseat the other day, 5+ years and had been downgraded. I hope this means he can re-upgrade soon. Good luck guys.
