Believe it or not, when the topside isn't full of pax we usually fill it with igloos of freight. The airplane gets filled. And on top of our schedule, we are always doing extra sections of cargo loads to most of those spots. Just did one to Red Dog today. Doing one to Kotzebue tomorrow. But you must know more because, what, you flew eagles at EDF?
I didn't say you didn't fill the jet up. I meant at what cost? EAS pays for a whole lot of Alaska flying to places that, well, don't deserve the level of service they get. Sure, that frieght you flew in could as easily been flown by any number of other aircraft, but EAS makes it possible for you, I guess, good on Alaska for using that as a source of funds. No, stopping EAS would not harm Alaska one iota, numerous other players would enter the market if the EAS went away. I did a study on it back in the day when I lived up there. Don't get me wrong, I love Alaska, as soon as the women dies, I'll return.
Off to fight the snow, Have a safe and Merry Christmas all. Even you Flopgut my friend.
