None of those places deserve jet service. And as soon as they move the Capital to Ancorage or Fairbanks, neither will Juneau.

This is not an economic issue. It is a political issue. Go tell the politicians that their constituents are now going to fly to/from these places via Frontier/ERA. Scaling back jet service in many of these places will be vehemently opposed at the highest levels.

If it concerns you that much then bring it up with uncle Ted if you move back. In the mean time, there are far worse economic scams than fast, reliable transportation to that remote 3rd world country and it's greedy citizens.
